Fighting voter suppression

Yesterday, I joined my colleagues from Fulton County for a press conference to denounce the Georgia GOP's efforts to take over the county election board. We need an Attorney General who's committed to fighting back against blatant efforts to suppress voting rights. My opponent, Chris Carr, is a strong supporter of the bill (SB 202) that made it easier for the legislature to take over county election boards. His efforts to push back against Trump's Big Lie have been inadequate at best, non-existent at worst. Under his watch, the Republican Attorneys General Association sent out robocalls before the January 6 insurrection telling supporters to "stop the steal." Every fundraising goal is crucial as we work to defeat Carr — and overcome the voter suppression tactics of Georgia Republicans.
