TURNMIRE TRADING NEWS MINUTE
Parabolic… Or Paradigm Shift? If you’ve had your eye on Eli Lilly (LLY) or Novo Nordisk (NVO) stock for a while now you may have noticed a familiar pattern that Jeffry has talked about. Take a look here at these 10 year charts: [] Over the past 12-18 months, each of these charts has gone virtually straight up. We’ve heard Jeffry warn about this kind of behavior many times before. Recently, he’s pointed out this behavior in Nvidia (NVDA) and Super Micro Computer (SMCI) And he’s compared it to a similar move Cisco (CSCO) went through during the DotCom Boom of the late 90’s. With the benefit of hindsight, we’re able to see how after Cisco’s parabolic pop, it went through a similarly fast flash crash: [] And remember, that was over 20 years ago and the stock still hasn’t come close to reaching those same highs. This is why Jeffry has warned viewers about NVDA and SMCI: “One of these pops will be the last one… Do you really want to be caught buying the top?” But when we approached him about NVO and LLY, he acknowledged the shape looks similar — but he isn’t worried. The Difference So if we’re staying away from NVDA and SMCI, why shouldn’t we be worried about NVO and LLY? What makes them different? Jeffry points us to the fact that CSCO never had a major competitive advantage. Sure, in the early days of the DotCom boom, it made a popular line of networking equipment. But none of their technology was top secret or patented. Many other companies were making networking equipment at the time. Just like today many other companies make chips (AMD, INTC) that compete with NVDA. And plenty of others (DELL, HPQ) make servers that compete with SMCI. The difference, Jeffry tells us, is that NVO and LLY make hugely popular weight loss drugs. You may recognize the names Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound. As Jeffry explained to us, these drugs open up whole new markets for these companies, bringing in completely new revenue streams and completely changing the paradigm. He compared it to the advent of the smartphone, when Apple took the world by storm in the mid-2000’s. Unlike Cisco's networking equipment, NVO and LLY's weight loss drugs like Ozempic create entirely new markets. These patented drugs offer a long-term competitive edge, similar to Apple's dominance with the revolutionary iPhone. While the charts look similar, the underlying businesses are fundamentally different. As far as related trade ideas, Jeffry tells us: “NVO and LLY have something special. That something special is a patent on a GLP-1 drug. A game changer as far as diabetes and weight loss goes. You are probably late to the party on this move, but it doesn't mean the party won't go on for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or even longer from here. That's the thing... you never quite know when the party is gonna be over on a mega move that blows out all the upside targets.” When asked for a higher-probability trade idea in the pharmaceutical sector, Jeffry gave us two possibilities: • GSK - 1st: Anything the FDA can regulate seems to occasionally take unexpected detours = not my favorite.
2nd: It is in a bullish pattern, but is a relatively slow mover and my upside target would be around $51. • NVS - below the Roadmap Line and 😬 -- choppy and might be heading lower — The Jeffry Turnmire Trading Team [] []

Bito Beta Bonanza Late last year, Jeffry launched a beta test trade strategy which focuses on BITO. BITO is an ETF that tracks the price of Bitcoin, allowing anyone to capture Bitcoin’s price movements without ever leaving their regular brokerage account. With Jeffry having perfected the strategy over the past few months, he’ll be launching it as a full-fledged program very soon. Tons of members dropped testimonials about their experience with the program in Discord yesterday, but Greg’s caught our attention because he advocates patience. So many times, we as traders want a black box that prints money. And while Greg has had a very successful run with the program, we love that he talks about it in a way that doesn’t make it seem like magic. Stay tuned for more about this program. You’ll be sure to hear about it in these pages soon. Congrats on the great trades, Greg! And thanks for being a beta member from the start.
