Right now I want to be looking at quality small-cap stocks like HIMS, ASTS, ENVX, and AEHR just to name a few. I have about 20 brand NEW names I’ll be watching into Christmas followed by the January Effect. I particularly like AEHR as a January Effect trade. The company is a pick and shovel stock in the semiconductor arms race. Here’s the weekly chart. Small-caps are at some of their cheapest valuations in recent history. Now that the labor market is cooling, an end to the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hikes could spark a monster rally for the smallest of stocks. I believe the IWM or Russell 2000 small-cap index to breakout above $200 in quarter 1 of 2024 and climb into the $220’s, a whopping 24% move. Here’s the weekly chart. And with the wind at its back, good small-caps could explode higher. I’m in 6 small-cap swing trades from last week. My stop loss rule is -3% and profit goal 5-20% in 1-4 days. ANGI - Entry: $2.17 - Range: $2.60-$2.80 - Goal: $2.30-$2.40 - Stop: $2.07-$2.05 Notes: Attractive buyout valuation. VERI - Entry: $2.21 - Range: $2.80-$3 - Goal: $2.40-$2.60 - Stop: $2.09-$2.07 Notes: Broke 10-day EMA last week. NRDY - Entry $2.72 - Range: $3-$3.30 - Goal: $2.85-$2.95 - Stop: $2.64-$2.62 Notes: Broke 10-day EMA Friday. Then there’s my LQMT long-term trade which rose 64% last week on some of the best catalysts we’ve seen in years. Here’s the weekly chart.
