This stock was one of the biggest movers of the whole year…                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 November 20, 2023  [Dropping SOON]( I [Follow me on X]( *Sponsored by Sica Media Good morning, Jeff Bishop here! I hope you had an awesome weekend. We’re dealing with a 7,000-acre wildfire not far from my place in Virginia (wait… nobody told me that had wildfires like this in Virginia!), so I had an extra excuse to stay indoors to watch the Cowboys beat up on the Panthers and hunt for trade ideas for the week ahead. “Fire on the Mountain” not far from my place. In other news…here was [a headline]( that caught my eye in the Wall Street Journal this weekend: The gist was that Secretary Yellen’s tweaks to debt issuance plans, last week’s softer-than-expected CPI report, and investors’ now-firmed-up hopes of rate cuts next year are fueling stock buying that’s not likely to fade. “We’re in a mini Goldilocks scenario,” said one senior portfolio manager. “The soft landing is playing out.” I tend to agree — with the caveat that we really need to keep an eye on the banking sector — and the minutes from the Fed’s last meeting that are due out this week should shore up investors’ optimism even further. These macro conditions are important to bear in mind, but I’d personally prefer to watch paint dry than follow the S&P as it climbs a few percent… That’s why I continue my search for precision-plays that I think have a high probability of being outsized movers. Well, somehow, through the wildfire smoke, I came across one this weekend that I think could be great for a rapid-fire win today. Do yourself a favor and pull this up immediately: GD Culture Group Limited (Nasdaq: GDC) GDC is a holding company that dabbles in e-commerce, gaming, and entertainment. One of its money-makers is an interactive game that [it pushes on TikTok](. But GDC’s fundamentals don’t fundamentally interest me today. I believe this stock is in the early stages of a breakout, and that today specifically could see a significant move higher. Over the last month, it has had a nice, orderly 17% move up: One-month view of GDC You can see the stock price obeyed my favorite indicator — the “go/no go” algorithm — each time it flashed “go.” The move has almost mimicked what we have seen for the major indexes – continual buying pressure that has moved it higher for the last few weeks. Notice how every dip was bought up, and had a strong reversal afterwards? I am not saying we’re going to see the same thing happen over the next month, but I think that TODAY, you need to get this firmly in your view. Sometimes, we see what I call a “blow off top” – kind of like a volcano. 🌋 That can happen when a stock has gradually been rising, and there is a perfect combination of short sellers who are trapped, along with fresh buyers looking to ride a sharp move higher. If you take a look at the pre-market activity, you’ll see that today GDC is trading up over 20%, and I think we could be on the doorstep of a big day. The driver for all of this is a powerful piece of news GDC released just a few minutes ago where they [announced](, “Transformative and Photorealistic AI-driven Digital Human Technology on TikTok.” AI technology is starting to touch every aspect of our lives, and this news is just one more piece of the puzzle. The market is obviously having a very strong reaction to this news so far. I am curious where it will take the stock today? A quick glance over at [TipRanks technical analysis]( supports my idea as we’re seeing an overall consensus of either “buy” or “strong buy” across the 1-hour, 5-hours, and 1-day indicators: I want to emphasize here that I’m looking at GDC as a quick idea that I think is a great idea to look at today, but be very careful about staying with a momentum stock for very long. When lots of traders and momentum comes into a stock, it can leave just as quickly.  I hope you are keeping a close eye on this today, though, as it might be an explosive one! 💥 If you’re reading this towards the end of today’s reading session, you may have already missed the optimal window, and if you’re reading this on Tuesday, you may have missed the window entirely. I can’t ever tell you where to make trades, all I am doing is showing you ideas that I think have catalysts for huge upside moves. But as always, this is just my idea. Pull up GDC yourself, study the chart, and see if you agree with me. Do your own research and decide if this fast-moving opportunity is right for you. I’ll be back later with more updates. In the meantime, we’re very much hoping the 80% chance of rain tomorrow puts a damper on these fires that are scarring the beautiful mountains I’ve come to love. I’ll be in touch again soon.
