My favorite trade, in a bull market, is the continuation pattern e.g. bull flag / pennant This is where I buy a call during the consolidation or rest phase because the premium is cheap when there's little implied volatility. As the same time I look to do a bull put too, so as to collect premium while I wait for the call to rip. Spreads are a great way to take advantage of a bullish market, while still limiting your risk. Late last week this worked very nicely for me on TSLA and technically we're not even in a bull market, yet! I closed the call Friday as Tesla shot higher.
