Good morning. We’re taking a break from the Weekly Watchlist and Connect the Dots this week for a few reasons. First, the IWM entered a correction so multi-week swings on penny stocks have simply been a pain in the butt. Second, I have family visiting the house so I’ll be spending evenings with them. But the more important and final reason is that I want to get laser-focused on some momentum trading which requires a little more babysitting but can be very exciting when they work. You should expect a more focused morning watchlist ([theRooster]() and afternoon watchlist ([theRedeye]() Monday - Friday this week. For me, momentum trade hold times are 0-2 days with a goal of 10-20% gain from my entry. The stop loss is defined by the technical pattern and I trend to trade smaller positions in momentum stocks. Other than the J-hook pattern, this is my bread and butter pattern. ACET is up on big news Monday morning and has a lot of chop (resistance) just ahead in the $15-$18 range. Already up 40%+ early, I’m watching for some retracement to $13-$11 for a possible gap recovery and go trade ([see video lessons](). As always, JasonBondPicks subscribers can take advantage of my pre-alerts using the RagingBull APP. This is where I alert, in real-time, a minimum of 10-minutes before I buy the stock. If you get a pre-alert, it is absolutely my intention to take the trade. CFVI has a lot of eyeballs on it lately and this morning it’s right back up to the $14’s threatening a breakout. Shorts are now trapped after Friday’s move lower and if $14’s breaks as resistance, there’s a nice looking base trade ([see video lessons]() from there to round number $20. I’m absolutely still watching these [8 J-hooks]( and the [7 January Effect stocks]( but as I noted, the combination of the variant news and inflation news has caused the penny stock sector to fall into a correction, making multi-week holds very boring and bloody. Stalking for now, I anticipate going over these in detail at Sunday’s Connect the Dots. As always, JasonBondPicks subscribers can take advantage of my pre-alerts using the RagingBull APP.
