The email I don’t want you to open… ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌   I started this letter a few times, {NAME}. Deleted, then started again. I didn’t know where, exactly, to begin, but I settled on the following: October 2022 was one of the most agonizing months of my professional career. I, of course, didn’t talk about what was happening. I simply couldn’t find the words. Instead I’d cry in the bathroom at 2am because I had let so many people down. This is the stuff people don’t talk about, but, alas, here we are and I’m getting real.   In October 2022, we downsized the Social Curator team, and stopped all promotions (no lead generation, free classes, paid ads, new opt-ins…everything halted). I needed time to recalibrate and redefine our vision. Heck, I needed time to figure out what type of business we wanted to build. It’s hard to admit, but somewhere, somehow, I’d gotten lost. This is embarrassing to admit, but it’s the harsh reality.   The last eight months have been spent rebuilding the business, reinvesting in tech, and rebuilding a platform that is–dare I say it–better than the 90s TGIF sitcom lineup.   It’s like when Uncle Jesse from Full House would say, "Have merrrrcy…." That. That’s how I feel when I see what people are saying about the upgraded platform. But enough about me. I like to write my weekly notes to you because I want you on this journey with me. And I want you to experience the same excitement I feel. I am bursting at the seams to connect with you in real time online…you ready?!?! It’s been almost a year since I’ve taught a live masterclass, but I’d like to personally invite you to my new and improved 60-minute class: [How to Plan, Create, and Execute a Month of Social Media Posts in One Day.]( (Real Talk: it’s faster than one day…it’s closer to a couple of hours…unreal, right?!) I love teaching these live classes because we gather tens of thousands of business owners just like you together for networking, learning, and business coaching. I will share my new social media marketing framework and give a step-by-step demo of my content strategy, so you can start implementing immediately after class. Seats are limited, so save yours here: - [Monday, June 12 at 10am PT/1pm ET]( - [Monday, June 12 at 5pm PT/8pm ET]( - [Tuesday, June 13 at 8am PT/11am ET]( And–as an extra way to celebrate this new beginning–if you join me in the masterclass LIVE, you’ll have a chance to win a 30-minute 1:1 coaching session with me! HAVE MERRRRCY. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
