 What did I learn that took my business from $2M to $10M? Yesterday I shared an email about PART 1 of my story of working with Jim Fortin during a really challenging time in my business. So.. what did I learn? What did we DO in our coaching that created such a RAPID and EXPANSIVE Quantum Leap in growth? Well, let me ask you... have you ever had that experience of driving your car, and it just feels off. Then you realize you had the parking brake on?  ...once you realized the brake was still on... did you leave it on, or did you just take it off? Well.. That was me. I had my foot on the gas, but my other foot was also on the brakes. And when I finally let off of that brake, everything changed.  So, I’m going to “break” (pun really not intended here!) this down into four big categories of how I did that: First, I learned how to REALLY navigate my mind and the power of my thoughts, perspectives, beliefs and the programming that’s constantly running the show on autopilot. I learned how to cultivate a deeper, more powerful awareness... and the Personal Power to STOP my World of thinking, and SHIFT.  Because of this, I was able to catch the blindspots (the things I didn’t even see about myself) that had kept me stuck. All of this is so important, because as you know our emotions, our actions, our body follows the mind... and going through this lawsuit... $h!+! I was taking myself DOWN! And if you’re gonna be an entrepreneur and play this game, you MUST master this. Our path is filled with risk, uncertainty, neverending problems, failures and disappointments. That ain’t going away any time soon! And frankly, most people quit cuz they just can’t hack it.  Through this process, I also learned just how important our THOUGHTS are... the ones we feed and give POWER to anyway. This really becomes the set point for our own FREQUENCY. And as you know... like attracts like.
Which takes me to the second massive gift and blessing: there was a massive INTEGRATION of Universal LAWS. I had been reading and learning a ton of ancient wisdom and spiritual teachings... but it was mostly still in my head, and only applied when easy or convenient. But now, the rubber was hitting the road in my life, and my default mode was to throw all of that away, and use fear and worry as my default state. Jim showed me where I still wasn’t APPLYING these principles in my life, and that changed everything. EVERYTHING.  And frankly, I think that’s why so many people struggle with spiritual principles and concepts, they aren’t really applied or embodied, so they don’t produce results, and people throw them out. DON’T. Applying these Universal Laws and Dinsctinctions CHANGED my life forever.  From there, Jim helped me to see that since we ARE energy (because everything is energy), I could see where I was giving all my Personal Power (your energy) away. And because I had done that... I had little Personal Power to deal with the “problem” that was right in front of me. Until we reclaim our Personal Power, we will feel powerless to most situations Life throws at us. And then, lastly... the big one. The big “F” word: FEAR. I had to FACE fear. And face it I did. When you truly understand what Fear is... when you transform your relationship with it, EVERYTHING changes. Because something I know to be true: is that we will ALL have to face and do battle with FEAR in this life, especially in business. And everyone who ends up facing it, conquers it. So, I faced my fear of being sued, of losing everything, and having to “start over.” I took my power back. I... stopped my World. It sounds a little weird to most people, but it feels like that scene in the Matrix where Neo just puts his hand up and stops the bullet flying at him. (I mean... it wasn’t as simple as that, but with the right tools and coaching, others will think you are NEO too!) And with those distinctions, and those tools and that coaching, I decided, “This lawsuit thing will be the best thing that will ever happen to me. It will teach me so much. I will grow so much. And it FUEL me to help more people.” And help more people I did. My launches exploded. Our sales exploded, and I took everything to an entirely new level. And, with the tools and distinctions I now had, I took a powerful team with me to that new level. Together, we performed at a level none of us had previously experienced. A level we still operate at today. In fact, we still do over $10M in revenue every year, and 2023, we plan exceeded that by more than 20%.  All of it showed me once and for all: JUST HOW POWERFUL WE ALL ARE. That our thoughts DO create our reality, that we are our own CREATORS. That your future is not SEALED. That it is up to you. That ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE 100%, and the UNLIMITED potential that lies dominant within you is accessible at any moment... And something it just takes a great catalyst or a great coach to ACTIVATE all of it. And I know I’m preaching to the choir here, cuz you probably are a coach, but THAT’S what GREAT coaching can do. THAT is the difference that can make the difference!
