This is the story of how I went from $2M in revenue to $10M... in just one year. Even my CFO Consult

This is the story of how I went from $2M in revenue to $10M... in just one year. Even my CFO Consultant said “this kind of growth is completely unheard of! It doesn’t happen.” I know. And it’s kinda unbelievable how it happened. By the way, this is also the first time I’ve shared it publicly like this. It’s personal and feels vulnerable. But... it will also help you. So, “service over self, right?” So, let’s start at the beginning. It’s 2017, and I’m in Sedona on a vacation, when a strange email comes in. I’m being sued. Total panic attack hits me at that moment. I could barely breathe. My heart was beating so loud, I couldn’t hear my friend calling for me just three feet away. “Who the F%$ would do this? And WHY?” Well, it’s not the POINT of this story, but it was a former freelancer who was very unhappy I fired them, and they wanted vengeance. Our attorneys and the mediator later agreed this individual had found a loophole and this was a case of total extortion. Go figure. But I didn’t know that at the time... so I was scared. Petrified.  Fear flared up HARD. And I went down. I’m talking restless nights with no sleep and plenty of cries. One thought was on repeat: “I’m finished. I’m done. This is it.” Ok, so pause. You know that like... the Universe works in like... total, crazy mysterious ways, right?!  Well... it just so happened, that just ONE week prior to being sued, I had hired a coach. #synchronicity You see, I had already noticed some sticking points in my life. I had seen success, but something was starting to feel... off. I knew I wasn’t quite firing on all cylnders. So, if you’ve ever had that feeling where you know there is more potential within, but for whatever reasons, you just can’t quite access it... then you can relate to what I was feeling. So... I hired a coach. The coach I hired was actually just this pretty random guy I had just had on my podcast a few days earlier. Here’s how it all went down: I was in a Facebook Group, this guy was asking everyone: “Which topic should I create a product on: a) subconscious reprogramming or b) advanced sales strategies?” ...everyone said, “B!” “No one wants that intangible woo-woo crap, they just want sales, money, etc.” I privated messaged him and said, “If you ever wanna talk about this subconscious reprogramming stuff on my podcast, lemme know. My name is James by the way. Hi.” Well, that person was Jim Fortin. He said yes, and a few days later we were recording what became [Episode 114]( That one episode has become one of the number one most downloaded episodes of my entire show. It really resonated with people.  So, I asked him if I could hire him and we both said yes to 12 weeks of coaching together. One week in... and here comes the lawsuit.  Now, we will never know fully, but to this day, I am convinced that if I didn’t have Jim in my life, I would have taken myself down. What Jim brought out in me, what he got me to see that I just couldn’t see on my own, didn’t just save my business, it’s what I attribute to taking it to $10M the very next year. So, this isn’t just the story of going from $2M to $10M, it’s the story of how I almost LOST everything, and THRIVED in spite of it. And on the other side, I see what a gift, what a BLESSING this “lawsuit” experience was for me. I know this person really wanted to hurt me, but if they knew what it actually did FOR me, they probably wouldn’t have bothered. So, how did I get myself out of this dark place? What did I learn in my coaching with Jim? And what happened that had my business explode and 5X by the very next year? Well, that’s tomorrow’s email. So, keep an eye out for it. In the meantime, I suggest you start by listening to that episode I did with Jim way back in 2017, entitled: How To Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind For Automatic And Lasting High Performance.
