If selling live gives you nightmares, here’s how to take it in your stride Hey {NAME}, Can y

If selling live gives you nightmares, here’s how to take it in your stride  Hey {NAME}, Can you believe I used to have a MASSIVE fear of speaking in front of people?! Yup! I’d sweat, and stumble – and had ZERO confidence that I could convince my audience what day it was, let alone sell the value of my offer! True story: I was at a live event with my dad back in the day, watching this amazing speaker, Yanik Silver, on stage … Dad nudged me and whispered “That’ll be YOU one day!” And I just beamed with excitement at the idea, right? WRONG!! I TOTALLY freaked out!! That’s how terrified I was of getting up in front of anyone! So when Business By Design member Jill Romig explained on her Hot Seat recently how nervous she was feeling about selling LIVE in her upcoming launch … I got it – 100%!! WAIT! If you’re thinking “James, what’s a freakin ‘Hot Seat’?!” here’s the inside scoop ... every month in Business By Design, we have Hot Seat coaching sessions, where members ask about a struggle in their business. We coach them through it – and everyone on the call gets a TON of value! Seriously, Hot Seat coaching is one of my all-time favorite things about BBD! OK carry on! See, in Jill’s previous launches, when she tried “talking on the fly” on her lives, she felt like she always skipped something super-important! But she worried that if she just read from her notes, to make sure she didn’t miss anything, she’d come across as flat and dull. So although Jill was not exactly losing her shizz about the whole public speaking thing (like I used to!) ... She just didn’t feel CONFIDENT in her ability to convince her audience to buy, live on the call. And if you’re like most, you probably feel the same, right?! No matter how amazing you know your offer is, how the heck do you sell it live – without a bunch of notes to boost your confidence and keep you on track?! OK so here’s my question for you. Have you ever been at a party (back when *that* was a thing!) and just CONNECTED with someone right away? Chances are you have, right? And did you have notes to keep the conversation on track? No! Of course not. (Unless you’re pretty unusual ..?!) You connected because you genuinely CARED about sharing with the other person. And it’s just the same when it comes to selling live. Because what I’ve learned (and you already know) is that it’s not really your offer that you’re selling – it’s YOU. So when you simply show your audience how much you CARE about what you have to share with them ... when you genuinely CONNECT with them at an emotional level ... THAT’S when they’ll buy in – and you’ll blow your goals out of the water. Hey, if any of this is resonating right now (maybe because you too are trying to get it all “correct” instead of aiming to CONNECT?) ... then trust me, you’re going to get a HEAP of value from this month’s Hot Seat Highlight! Click below to check it out – and you’ll hear how I helped Jill to not only feel more confident about WHAT to say, and WHEN, to build out her audience’s journey with her ... but also see HOW to use her voice to feel into every word, and create a heart-grabbing, emotional connection that MOVES her audience along that journey, step by irresistible step! (PLUS I share my powerful, super-simple strategy for self-coaching that’s going to transform the way you deal with any ‘problem’ in your life! ← you NEED this, believe me!)  [January Hot Seat Highlight Video]( Listening on the go? Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
