Ignore the Internet Mobs

The internet is not your friend.
The free press is collapsing on itself. If you look at the articles for Dave Chapelleâs (brilliant) new special, the press says itâs âUnfunny.â
But it has a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Only one headline got it right.
CNBC said,
[Dave Chapelle banner]
The other papers are âoutraged.â
But are they really?
Journalists are competing for clicks. Just like the rest of us. (Please subscribe to my podcast).Â
But we all have different strategies to get (or EARN) your attention.
And the mainstream media has chosen itâs methodâ¦
I want to whisper to these âjournalists.â As if theyâre Paris Hilton, Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, pantyless in the early 00âs stepping out a black SUV, legs wide open into a crowd of paparazziâ¦
âYour agenda is showingâ¦â
âNewsâ stations are competing for the dollar. Just like everyone else.
So VICE writes this:
âYou Can Definitely Skip Dave Chappelleâs New Netflix Special âSticks & Stonesââ
And The New York Times said:
âComedy is changing. Dave Chappelleâs latest Netflix comedy special, âSticks & Stones,â makes us wonder if he can keep up.â
âPeople are being irresponsible with their journalism and their writing,â T.J Miller said. âBut the real thing that I think is so tragic⦠is that this happened when Hitler took over. He said, âThe Jewish Pressâ is lying. And there was enough there for the public to say, âYeah, the press does lie.ââ
The myth: Outrage = virtue.
The truth: Fake Outrage = fake virtue.
Journalists are competing for clicks. We all know it.
So what happens from here?
A few things.
The comedians keep making jokes. They elevate awareness. The press continues their attempts to silence and oppress.
The president changes his language. From âFake Newsâ to âCorrupt News.â
And people debate issues that literally donât impact them at all.
We lose more touch with reality. And forget where life is.
Thatâs where T.J. comes in. Heâs a stand-up comedian. But also a clown. And an improver. And an actor.
He does something different with every show.
He plays the trombone.
Or has someone in the audience play the trombone.
Heâll do crowd work.
Or change everything when he finds out someone is celebrating their birthday.
âI always say, âIâll never perform for this exact audience again. And no audience will see this exact show againâ¦ââ
Thatâs how he stays alive. He takes out monotony. And inserts randomness.
Iâll give you one example.
T.J. did a show in Rahway, New Jersey. And the mayor was there.
âSo I was like, âMr. Mayor, how are you? Welcome to the show.â And all this stuff. Then I licked his hand. And I was like, âI just licked a mayor! How many of you have ever seen someone lick a mayor? Iâm a mayor licker! You taste like good infrastructure and a driven campaign agenda.â
The crowd couldnât expect this.
So theyâre laughing. And happy. Because they know theyâre only here.
Theyâre in a room with T.J. Miller yelling, âIâm a mayor licker!â
If You Use Apps, a Smartphone or Online Bankingâ¦

Because, says world-famous futurist George Gilder, weâre headed for a stunning $16.8 trillion reboot that could impact the way you use every single one of those modern tools.
It could also radically transform the way you get paid, the way you save and â maybe most of all â the way you invest for retirement.
Itâs all in his brand-new presentation â [youâll find it at this link.](
What youâll see could change our way of life, the way microchips did. The way the internet did. The way smartphones have.
[And, says George, it could make you exceedingly rich â click here to see why.](
