Morning Bites: 5 things to know for Thursday, November 30, 2023 Ocho Rios Fire Station to be renamed in honour of Lorenzo Douse The Minister of Local Government and Community Development, Desmond McKenzie, will today preside over the renaming of the Ocho Rios Fire Station as the Ocho Rios Fire Lorenzo Garnet Douse Memorial Building. The renaming is in honour of late firefighter, Lorenzo Garnet Douse, who was based at that location when he [tragically lost his life](. McKenzie made the announcement of the renaming of the building during the firefighter’s funeral service earlier this year. The renaming exercise will take place at the Ocho Rios Fire Station, Stormont Road, Ocho Rios, St Ann at 11:00 am. Danielle Rowe’s alleged killer returns to court Kayodi Satchell, the dental assistant who has been [charged with the murder of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe]( is to reappear today in the Home Circuit Court in downtown, Kingston. She was denied bail when she last appeared in court a month ago. Satchell was slapped with the murder charge in August for the June 8 killing of young Danielle.
