Morning Bites: 5 things to know for Monday, November 13, 2023 VMBS closes external ABMs Effective today, members of the public can only access automated banking machines (ABMs) belonging to the VM Building Society (VMBS) [inside VMBS branches](. These ABMs can be accessed during normal business hours. VMBS announced the closure of all other ABMs as of Friday, November 10 and said the closure will remain in place until further notice. It said the closure is due to an increase in the detection of attempts to compromise its ABM network. JBDC celebrates entrepreneurship, opens agro-processing incubator The Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) in association with Sagicor Bank will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week starting today with a number of activities. Held under theme, ‘GEW DRIVE: Developing Rich Industry Value Chains for Export’, the week will run to Sunday, November 19. Among the activities, the JBDC will today host the official opening of its Agro-Processing Incubator. There will also be a business dialogue forum and agro-processing exhibition panel discussion under the topic, ‘Going Global: Planting and Packaging Brand Jamaica for Export’.
