Montague urges Gov't to release FINSAC Report Member of Parliament for St Mary Western, the Jamaica Labour Partyâs (JLP) Robert Montague, is urging his party to release the long-delayed Financial Sector Adjustment Company (FINSAC) Report that examined the reasons behind the meltdown of the financial sector in the 1990s. The meltdown, and the subsequent setting up of FINSAC, occurred when the Peopleâs National Party formed the Government and Dr Omar Davies was the Minister of Finance. Montague, who is also the Chairman of the JLP, made the call for the report to be released during his recent contribution to the State of the Constituency Debate in the House of Representatives.
