know for Wednesday, June 7, 2023 Brace for unstable weather conditions, says Met office The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says a trough currently across Jamaica and the western Caribbean will extend across to the central Caribbean and linger through to the weekend. As a result of this broad and lingering trough, the Met office has advised Jamaicans to [expect unstable weather conditions]( including increased cloudiness with showers and thunderstorms and occasional gusty winds across the island for the period. On Wednesday, the forecast is for mostly cloudy conditions with morning showers mainly across north-eastern and southern parishes. Afternoon to evening showers and thunderstorms are anticipated especially across eastern and central parishes. Lingering night-time showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected mainly across eastern parishes.
