According to the prosecution's case file, about 2:00 pm on December 22, 2022, the complainant was standing on St James Street with her child when she felt someone hit her. She turned around and saw the accused man, who stabbed the infant with a pair of scissors and remarked, "It naah go so." A psychiatric evaluation was ordered for Williams ahead of today’s sentencing.
