Teachers warned to be wary of voucher scam The Ministry of Education and Youth is warning the public, and teachers in particular, to be wary of persons advising them that they are eligible for an Own Your Own Device (OYOD) Incentive Programme. According to the ministry, letters have been sent to teachers advising them that they have been approved for a voucher valued at $100,000.00 which they can redeem from any of a list of vendors. The ministry has advised that it has no such incentive programme in place. Teachers are advised not to send any information to the fake email addresses listed in the letters. Motorists to pay more for gasoline, diesel Motorists will pay more for petrol when they fill up at the pumps today, according to the latest price listing from the State-owned oil refinery, Petrojam. According to the listing, both grades of gasoline are up in price by $3.06, with the 90-octane brand to be sold for $177.31 per litre and 87-octane to be sold for $173.23 per litre.
