Teachers have been [protesting across the island since Monday]( over the wage negotiations, forcing some schools to close their doors early and leaving some children unsupervised. At the JTA special conference at the Mico University College in St Andrew on Wednesday afternoon, 346 delegates voted to reject the governmentâs latest wage offer, 227 voted to accept, while one ballot was rejected and four ballots spoilt. Julian Robinson makes contribution to Budget Debate Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Julian Robinson, will make his contribution to the 2023/24 Budget Debate today.
