‌This Memorial Day, I’m thinking about all of our brave soldiers overseas, and here at home, and the sacrifice they make to keep our country safe. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Hi {NAME}, I wanted to send a quick note of reflection. Today is an important day for us all to memorialize brave service members who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. During my 29 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, I deployed to Germany for Operation Desert Storm, Guantanamo Bay Cuba, Iraq, and Afghanistan, before I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. This Memorial Day, I’m thinking about all of our brave soldiers overseas, and here at home, and the sacrifice they make to keep our country safe. It’s their dedication that allows us all to have opportunities and freedoms in our lives. We cannot forget their sacrifices when they come home, and must do everything we can to make sure they are taken care of in any way they need when they return from service. Please, take a moment today to honor the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and their families.
