[image] [image] Our next meeting will be Tuesday June 20 at 11:00 am ET. We'll send you a reminder and link when it's time for the meeting. Update: June 1, 2023 First, we will have our next live class on June 20 at 11:00 am EST. The market is closed on Monday, so we’ll meet on Tuesday and pick a new trade for the month. OK, here’s a quick review of where we are. As you know, on May 1. I sold the GOOG June 16, 115 Call for 1.63. New Cost 108.22. GOOG is trading at 123.65 as I write this. If GOOG is above 115 on June 16, I will have GOOG assigned (called away from me) at 115. Prior to expiration I can have the stock “called away” at 115 anytime. In this case I am not going to buy back the 115 Calls because they are far too expensive. Instead of buying back the Calls, I will let the stock get “called away” from me at 115. Our cost is 108.22. If I get called out at 115, I will make 115 - 108.22 = $6.78. If the stock is “called away” at 115 anytime now or at expiration I will buy back GOOG stock and sell Call options 30-40 days out with a strike price of about 10% higher than my new cost. If I don’t get the stock “called away” at 115 it will mean the options expired worthless and I will simply sell more Calls when we meet on June 20. If anything happens before that I will let you know. Until then trade well, [image] I’ve opened a central telegram channel for all my memberships. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
