a real introduction [image] I wanted to quickly apologize for jumping right into my shameless plug earlier. I am genuinely very excited about this new [initiative](=) and I didn't want to waste a minute telling you about it. But, I don't want to be rude... Allow Me to Introduce Myself… As I told you earlier, my name is Jack Carter. I started in the heart of Wall Street almost 40 years ago as a stockbroker at Dean Witter (now a part of Morgan Stanley) right inside the World Trade Center. I learned a lot about what really goes on in the markets during my years as an "insider"... [image] It may sound like a conspiracy theory, but I can tell you flat out: There are a ton of strategies the old boys club just doesn't want you to know about. And ever since I walked out on one of those jerks about 20 years ago, it's been my mission to bring those strategies to mainstream investors who otherwise would never learn about this stuff. The recent market conditions are a perfect example of how "regular people" get screwed... Most investors have taken a beating for more than a year now. Meanwhile money managers continue to collect their "asset management" fee. What a joke. All they're doing is buying some basic mutual funds and charging you a fee while they tell you to weather the storm (what exactly are they "managing" anyway?). This is exactly why I launched [The "Income for Life" initiative.](=) It takes the old warn out idea of holding onto a portfolio and hoping for the best (and losing money to fees) and flips it on its head. Instead, we use a 2-step trade over and over again to target meaningful income without the risk of holding onto a single share of stock. If you're like me, you don't like to sit around and do nothing while your portfolio bleads away. Don't get me wrong... I don't want to stare at charts all day. I'd rather be fishing in the Colorado rivers. But with limited time I can still take control of my portfolio. That's why most of what I do is very straightforward and doesn't require a ton of active management. Just like the [2-Step Trade.](=) Now, this approach to targeting weekly cash flow may not be right for you. Not everyone fits into the same mold. But I encourage you to watch the presentation anyway so that you can learn this process of flipping traditional buy and hold on its head and focusing on cash flow. And I'll be sending you a few more things about generating income shortly. Talk soon! The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
