[View in Browser]() [Podcast Newsletter Header Final.png]() {NAME}, Over the holidays, Cass and I did our end-of-year Rich Life Review. We loved it! Today I want to show you some of the things that came out of it -- and how you can start to use your money to live your Rich Life in 2024. --------------------------------------------------------------- If you have a hard time unwinding at night… If you have a hard time falling asleep, check out Calm. The Calm app helps you relax with Sleep Stories, sleep meditations, music and soundscapes right on your phone. [Calm Premium]() [Get 40% off a Calm Premium Subscription here](). --------------------------------------------------------------- My Rich Life goals for 2024 We started off asking, “What do we want our life to be like this year?” Then we outlined it as categories, like: - Convenience - Relationships - Travel Within each category, we wrote out specific things we actually want to do. For example, under Convenience: - Someone to chop up vegetables so we can always eat healthily. Can you imagine your house looking like a Subway Sandwich with all the toppings ready to go? LOVE IT. - Someone to handle laundry - Someone to come and wash our car For Travel, we're going to travel more and go deeper. For example, when we travel to one country we have in mind, we're going to set up a textile tour ahead of time and hire an art professor as a tour guide. For Relationships, we want to fly our niece/nephew out and spend time with them in LA. We didn’t think about costs at this stage. We didn’t prioritize or limit ourselves in any way. We just free-formed, brainstormed, and built on each other. As we did this, we discovered we wanted to add new categories, such as Luxe/Beauty: We want to surround ourselves with beauty this year and this decade. For example, more self-care e.g. training, massages, etc. Later conversations involved tying our finances to the things listed. You can’t do everything, but using the IWT process, you can live a Rich Life today and a richer life tomorrow. And that means you can actually do some of the things you list out as aspirational! This is a great exercise to do solo or with your partner to design a beautiful 2024. Reply here and let me know what things you’re going to do differently in 2024 with your money! Specifics, please (in our case: hiring someone to chop vegetables for you). Can’t wait to read what you came up with. [Signature] P.S. This week on the podcast: “My wife doesn’t want me to take a $720k job offer” Check out my inspiring [conversation with Mel and Babu](), a highly accomplished couple considering a major life decision after many years of sacrifices to get to where they are.
