Many people believe all their money worries will melt away once they reach Can't view this email properly? [View in Browser]() {NAME}, Many people believe all their money worries will melt away once they reach a certain salary or net worth. Hardly the case! I once had a podcast guest who would drive from store to store looking for the best prices on blueberries. Guess what his net worth was? $8 million! Guess what his salary was? $270,000 a year! To tackle this mistake, I created Money Rule #5: It’s not about the money in your bank account. Ramit's Twitter post Follow me on [Twitter]() and [Instagram](). Create a worry-free number Money is psychological. Your attitude and how it makes you feel doesn’t change—unless YOU change. That’s why multimillionaires can still agonize over the price of blueberries. One solution is to create a “worry-free number.” This is a dollar amount that you’re just not going to debate in your head or worry about. Write it down. Make it concrete! For example: “I’m not going to worry about anything under $20, including blueberries.” Ramit clapping Me when people escape the extreme frugality mindset. But as your income and net worth increase, your “worry-free number” should rise with it. If you earn $300,000 a year and agonize over a $20 purchase, that’s a problem. A “worry-free number” eliminates decision fatigue, so you can focus on living your Rich Life. Many of my students have experienced this for themselves. Take Dianne, for example: [MCRS-Dianne Maxon]() These people didn’t try to figure things out on their own… They didn’t wait until they had all the information they needed… And they didn’t wait until they reached a magic salary or net worth. They simply took action and followed a system. I’ve built a [tested, automated, customizable SYSTEM]() for achieving financial freedom. One with guidance from me every step of the way. Maybe you want to take multiple trips every year. Or splurge on designer handbags. Or hire a personal chef. That’s great! Your Rich Life doesn’t need to make sense to anyone but you. It’s YOURS to dream up. In fact, the weirder it seems to outsiders, the more it probably fits you. Take me, for example. I don’t care about driving a nice car. That’s why I still have my 2005 Honda Accord. But I splurge on luxury hotels and cashmere sweaters. Ramit Sethi CNBC featured my car story. Your Rich Life shouldn’t make sense to anyone but you! After you define your Rich Life vision, you can use all the resources in Money Coaching to automate your finances and build a system that supports that vision. And if you ever get stuck, or feel unsure about anything, you can lean on the Rich Life Community for support. It can be taboo to speak about money. (Even with loved ones!) But in the community, everyone has set the goal of living their Rich Life. So they won’t judge you. They’ll just offer support and guidance. Money Coaching community Join this group of like-minded people [here](). On monthly group coaching calls, we discuss a variety of topics. One month it’ll be about buying back your time.
