Most of us simply choose to ignore our money. In fact, Gen Z and millennials To view this email as a web page, [click here]() {NAME}, Most of us simply choose to ignore our money. In fact, Gen Z and millennials are the most likely to not even think about their money. More than a quarter in each of these generations often feels a “sense of financial dissociation,” says [The Wall Street Journal](). I get it: It can be stressful to look at our bank accounts. But it’s more stressful to turn a blind eye for weeks, months, or YEARS, all the while knowing, deep down, that it could be better. It also doesn’t help that we can’t Google anything about money without running into broken, frugality-obsessed advice: - “Paying rent is a waste of money” - “Student loans are a scam” - “Owning a home is the best way to build wealth” - “Cut out avocado toast and become a millionaire” (I actually talked about this one on [CNBC’s Make It]()) I have news for you: Avocado toast isn’t the problem. Ignoring your money is the problem. “I do have the money to pay these bills. I’ve just been avoiding them.” In my Netflix series “[How to Get Rich](),” I sat down with Frank Grimsley. (If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he won Netflix’s “The Circle” in season 4.) Between his job, his social media account, and his prize winnings from “The Circle,” Frank was depositing $9,000 a month…but he was spending almost $12,000. And none of that spending was going toward his $200K of debt. “I do have the money to pay these bills, I’ve just been avoiding them,” Frank said. “I just don’t think about them.” [Bills meme] Together, we went through every bill and took action. Traffic tickets, delinquent notices, bills: pay now. Notices that he’s been pre-qualified for a secure personal loan? [Bills meme] Trash. Every time. Frank was tired of his life being in financial chaos. Taking decisive action over a traffic ticket may seem small, but he was finally taking control of his money. And if he can take control of his traffic tickets, he can start to do that with other debt, savings, investments, spending, and ultimately, his Rich Life. Don’t let those envelopes get in the way. Taking action, even if it’s small, is a big sign to yourself that you’re not scared of your money any longer. Take decisive action If you’re ready to face your finances head-on and to finally stop stressing about money, I can help you. I’ve built a tested, automated, customizable SYSTEM for achieving financial freedom. One with guidance from me every step of the way. And this week, [I want to invite you to join]().
