You can make changes in your life fast. Here’s exactly what I did: To view this email as a web page, [click here]() {NAME}, You can make changes in your life fast. Here’s exactly what I did: [Ramit's post - change your life in 7 days] More on why I made these 3 changes—and more life-changing habits—below. --------------------------------------------------------------- Today’s newsletter is brought to you by: [Rocket Money]() [Rocket Money]() Rocket Money is a personal finance app that finds and cancels your unwanted subscriptions. For any you don’t want anymore, just hit “cancel,” and Rocket Money will cancel it for you. Check out [RocketMoney here](). Find special deals here from [all of our sponsors](). --------------------------------------------------------------- Change your life in 7 days 1. Be in bed by 10pm with no phone / computer. Everything flows from this. I have to admit that my wife, Cassandra ([who styled me for my Netflix show]()) has taught me the importance of going to sleep on time...and I still give myself a C+. I’ve set a timer on my phone, which I mostly ignore. I always have my computer. But being in bed by ~10pm is the greatest predictor of me going to sleep on time, and I can see and feel the results the next day. 2. Track your food and spending for one week. Most of us would be absolutely shocked if we tracked what we spent and ate for one week alone. This includes everything: buying a pack of gum, the random video game subscription, even the $1,200 December holiday which actually costs us $23 this week. For eating: coffee creamer, a handful of nuts, salad dressing. Just 7 days of insights can have a profound impact on what you’re actually doing, not just what you think you are. If you want help on what to do next, join my [Money Coaching program](). 3. Send a thank-you note to someone who influenced your life Nobody does this. Think of all the teachers who influenced you. Think of a writer you love (but have never sent an appreciative email to). Or even your parents or a friend. Send them a note and be specific about what they taught you, a memory you have, and what it meant to you. Why we can make these changes fast: A lot of people get in their head that they need to make huge commitments to change their life — & then don't take any action at all. But these small steps compound each day to create a better life for you tomorrow and the next day. By making these changes, you'll quickly realize just how different your life could be (for the better). By the way, here’s what I would do after 7 days. Change your life in 21 days: [Ramit's post - change your life in 21 days] Change your life in 3 months: [Ramit's post - change your life in 3 months] To help lock these changes in, I recommended pairing your behavior changes with [Mental Mastery]().
