My new Netflix show premiered a few days ago—and I still feel like I’m dreaming. To view this email as a web page, [click here]() {NAME}, My new [Netflix show]() premiered a few days ago—and I still feel like I’m dreaming. The series was a multi-year journey that myself and a small army poured our souls into. But really, it started long before that. For years, my team used to pitch the possibility of an I Will Teach TV show during blue sky meetings (where’d we come up with any idea to grow IWT no matter how ambitious or crazy). When the idea came up, it always went the same way: - Someone suggests that we should make a TV show - People nod and comment things like “Great idea,” or “We should totally try it!” - We’d all immediately forget about it like goldfish and it’d go nowhere Rinse and repeat until the next blue sky session. There’s a good reason we never took it seriously: I was more than happy running my boutique business on our proven system and helping our readers (like you) and students. Then, a few years ago, I got an email asking me to pitch a show for Netflix. That moment changed everything. After that email and talking through the pitch with the production team, I realized more and more that a TV show was a great way to deliver a message I’ve been preaching for nearly 20 years to more people: How to live a Rich Life. [Netflix: How to Get Rich]() That means teaching people the ability to invest, save, and spend lavishly on the things that matter most to them—while mercilessly cutting out everything else. On the show, I taught a handful of people struggling with their financial and personal development my Rich Life philosophy. This ranged from helping them get out of debt, to making crucial mindset shifts to change their entire worldview on money and life. (BTW, if you haven’t watched the show yet, this is your permission to stop reading this email right now and [watch it](). I’m not kidding. Do that now and then come back to this email.) It was an amazing experience—and one that I’ve been lucky to have with thousands of students and readers over my nearly two decades of running I Will Teach. But it got me thinking: Why stop there? In fact, why can’t I help the person reading this email right now (you) with their Rich Life? For the next week, I want to walk you through one of the core fundamentals of the IWT philosophy—as if you were someone I was helping on my Netflix show “How to Get Rich.” Of course, a Rich Life looks a million different ways for different people. After all, everyone is different. Your version of a Rich Life probably isn’t going to look the same as your friends, family, or even your significant other (just listen to a [few episodes of my podcast]() for some good examples of that). But there’s one thing that they all have in common: earning more money. This can mean things like starting a freelance hustle on the side, or even starting your own business. It doesn’t have to be that complex though. In fact, it could be as simple as a raise or even a new job to change your life entirely. Tomorrow, I want to go into a few unspoken truths that’ll show you how easy that can actually be. Until then, I want you to do something: Email me back exactly what your Rich Life looks like. This can be as ambitious as retiring in your 30s or as simple as being able to order an appetizer at dinner without having to worry about the cost. Be specific too. The clearer your goals are, the more likely you are to achieve them. Email me what your Rich Life looks like. I read every single one.
