How would you answer these two questions: 1. On an average day, where do you To view this email as a web page, [click here]() [IWT Header] {NAME}, How would you answer these two questions: - On an average day, where do you spend your time? - If you could spend your time any way you wanted, where would you spend your time? Yes, that sickening feeling in your stomach means the answers to those two questions don’t add up. You know it. I know it. We all know it. So today I want to show you some of the many things I no longer have to do (or worry about) thanks to my assistant. Imagine being able to take all those mundane tasks, all that back-and-forth email, all those important-but-never-time-for-it tasks that never get done… …and just hand them to someone else. You can buy back your time overnight. They're off your plate. They're done. And they're done well. (My program [Delegate and Done]() is all about this.) Here's a taste of what I've delegated to my assistant, Jill: Managing my calendar I never have to worry about adding things to my calendar, moving things around, sending reminders, making sure I have enough time to get to an appointment. My assistant takes care of all of that. I just open up my calendar, and all of the info I need is right there. [Calendar Entry with all important information] And if I ever need to make a change, I just tell my assistant and she handles the back-and-forth and updates. Ordering gifts (and sending thank-yous) I love sending gifts and thank you notes, but I used to be bad at it. I'd miss birthdays and forget to send a thank you card. Now, it's super simple with my assistant. She tracks birthdays, anniversaries, and other important occasions, and even shares gift recommendations. [Thank you gifts made easy] When I do have a gift idea, I can just email it to her and she'll take care of everything else. [Please send this book to Paul] Checking in for flights Travel can be stressful. Or at least it used to be before my assistant built a system to take care of all of the details for me. [How Jill would have helped me for this event] Now I can relax and enjoy the trip. Handling all the mundane admin that pops up Life is full of small, one-off tasks. Update your credit card here. Order more coffee there. Confirm an appointment for Thursday. The to-dos never stop. [Please call with new credit call info ASAP] I've found my assistant is better and faster at these tasks than I am. Best of all, since she keeps track of my preferences, when I say "pls reorder contacts," she knows exactly which contacts to buy. [Please reorder contacts. TY] Preparing for events, meetings, and interviews Thanks to my assistant, I never have to worry about going to an event, meeting, or interview unprepared. From talking points for a meeting to neighborhood info for an event, everything I need is prepped ahead of time and waiting for me when I need it. [How Jill would have helped me for this event, continued] Researching random questions What do you do when a random question pops into your head? Do you stop work and get lost down a Google rabbit hole trying to find the answer? That's what I used to do. Now I can just send those questions to my assistant and get back to work. Then, a little while later, I'll receive a reply with the answer and any extra info I requested. That's exactly what I did when I got curious about cooling vests I might use during my summer wedding a couple years ago. Jill sent me a detailed response that crossed off options that weren't a good choice and broke down promising solutions by price, return policy, and additional notes. This saved me HOURS of research time! [This saved me hours of research time] And this is just the tip of the iceberg! My assistant handles ALL OF THESE tasks for me: [My assistant handles all of these tasks for me] Add all this up and my assistant saves me 20 hours every week. An assistant can do a lot more for you than you think. Right now, you're spending hours every day doing tasks that you could delegate. That's hours every day you could be spending on the projects you choose, the hobbies you enjoy, and the people you love. In true IWT fashion, I didn’t just get “good enough” at working with my assistant and move on. I went all-in and spent years to become world-class — building systems to simplify, streamline, and perfect every part of the assistant process: - How to find an assistant - How to quickly separate the amazing, trustworthy (life-changing) assistants from the beginners, the flakes, and the wannabes - How to start handing off tasks to an assistant on Day 1 - How to make collaborating with an assistant smooth and easy - How to get any assistant to do any task exactly the way I like it (this is win-win — it’s comforting for me and efficient for them) I put everything I learned into my program [Delegate and Done](). Delegate and Done is packed with the systems, tactics, and tricks you need to find and work with a trustworthy assistant. Full details [here](). This course is a behind-the-scenes look at how the busiest people — and their experienced assistants — get more done than anyone else, save hours every day, and still have more time to relax, hang with friends, and have more fun than anyone else.
