[IronFX The Global Leader in Online Trading]( 14th November 2017 [start trading]( [open demo account]( All trading involves risk. It is possible to lose all your capital. Main Points of Today Central bank chiefs gather under one roof - Today, Fed Chair Janet Yellen, ECB President Mario Draghi, BoJ Governor Haruhiko Kuroda and BoE Governor Mark Carney will all form one panel in Frankfurt (10:00 GMT). - The topic will be communication challenges for policymakers. - In case of remarks on policy, we’d expect each chief to reiterate the stance of their respective Banks, more or less. - So for the Fed, we would expect comments that signal support for another rate hike in December. - BoJ’s Kuroda could be more dovish and thus, we see the case for a higher USD/JPY today. - As for Draghi and Carney, they are likely to appear neutral overall, as there haven’t been any major economic updates since the latest ECB and BoE meetings. As for the rest of today’s highlights: - UK: CPI rates for October (09:30 GMT) are anticipated to have risen. Although this could support GBP on the news, we doubt it will have much impact on the BoE’s policy plans and in any case, sterling’s near-term direction may be dictated primarily by Brexit developments. - Sweden: CPIs for October (08:30 GMT). Both the headline and the core rates are expected to decline, which could hurt SEK. - Norway: GDP prints for Q3 are forecast to show a slowdown in growth. NOK-negative. Speakers: Besides Yellen, Draghi, Carney and Kuroda, we will hear from ECB Executive Board members Lautenschlager (09:00 GMT) and Coeure (15:30 GMT). Also, BoE Deputy Governor Jon Cunliffe.
