Todays Top News Slowdown in Spending, but Not to a Halt We’ve hit a stall in our growth spurt.

[Investor News Pro]( [TODAY'S DEAL: Honestly, you should get this book](mailto:editor@investornewspro.com?subject=Give+me+my+top+stocks+for+2020&body=Give+me+my+top+stocks+for+2020) Todays Top News [Slowdown in Spending, but Not to a Halt] Slowdown in Spending, but Not to a Halt We’ve hit a stall in our growth spurt. It looks like our healthy economic recovery from May and June hit a plateau this month, with credit card spending 10% lower than it was this time last year. What’s to blame? Well, we’ve a second set of shutdowns in Arizona, California, and Florida, to name a few. No need to worry, though – we haven’t started to roll in reverse just yet. And the states with the most coronavirus cases don’t have the biggest gap in spending (whereas previously that was the case). It can’t get too much worse considering several months ago restaurants were only able to offer takeout and delivery and in-person retail was shut down completely. If most states can manage to keep their numbers down and retain pandemic-friendly regulations (never thought I’d write those two words together), we should remain in good shape. Has our economic stability surprised you? Were you expecting more of a recession? Reply back and let us know. Investing [Wozniak Is Whining About YouTube Scammers] Wozniak Is Whining About YouTube Scammers YouTube is getting sued by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak for not doing anything to stop a bitcoin giveaway scam that uses his name (just like what happened on Twitter). The scam uses pictures of Wozniak in ads and videos that claim he’ll be hosting a live giveaway and if you send bitcoins, you’ll get double the number back… but of course, you get nothing back. It’s scam. Wozniak isn’t the only one dealing with this. Elon Musk, Bill Gates and 17 other high profile victims are also targets. They’re suing Alphabet Inc. to remove the videos and send the viewers a warning. They are also asking for compensation. Even though Twitter responded ASAP when hackers pulled this stint last week, YouTube has been silent. Good PR move or bad? Should YouTube have piped up by now? Reply back and tell us what you think. Don't Miss This [Airlines Are Desperate] Airlines Are Desperate We all know the trouble airlines are in, but they’re really hanging on by a thread now. Asiana Airlines has been flying empty commercial planes to ensure their pilots stay certified. They want to keep crews flight-ready as if “any day now” we’ll be back to booming with business. Asiana can’t afford pilots losing their licenses, but this can’t last forever. They’ve flown the world’s biggest commercial plane over 20 times now, which is getting pretty expensive. The International Civil Aviation Organization has been on top of the crisis, however, sending guidelines to states on how to keep pilots up-to-date and polished on their skills. One-third of the world’s plane crews are officially “grounded” and the International Air Transportation Association says our usual international air traffic levels won’t return until at least 2024. Emirates Airlines is still flying their A380 (they have the world’s largest clan of superjumbo planes), but Deutsche Lufthansa on the other hand said their A380’s might be grounded for the next two years. We haven’t heard much of this about the U.S. airlines, like Alaska, American or Southwest, but they use many of Boeing’s 747s, which have more simulators and are used by more airlines for cargo flights, so crews can rotate and stay certified. Where do you see air travel headed from here? Reply back and tell us your thoughts. [Vote Now] PS. How useful did you find today’s update?
