The event website for West is live with full event details and preregistration is open! LS Fest event staff are working diligently to ensure they deliver the same adrenaline pumping automotive experience that has become standard with their Bowling Green, KY event each year. Bowling Green registration is set to be live in the near future. Holley LS Fest events are a celebration of anything and everything powered by GM's incredible LS and current generation LT engines. In an effort to reduce registration wait times, we are offering early check-in and registration to take place Thursday, May 3rd, 2017, at LVMS. The crew from LSXTV is also hosting a cruise to Hoover Dam Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m. for those that might be in town. Please see the schedule of events for the itinerary. Nitto Tire | XTREME Off-Road TV Off Road Challenge: LS engines are taking over the off-road world and we put them to the test at LS Fest West! There will be classes for trucks as well as buggies and even some long jump mayhem just for fun! Vehicles in each class will compete in side-by-side format. In 2017 the track was set up by none other than the crew at Ultra 4 Racing, creators of King Of The Hammers! They're coming back for 2018 and the dozers are ready to move some dirt to see what kind of course we can throw at you, while the crew from Off Road Extreme TV captures all the action! Bring your truck and driving skill along with your friends to join the party in Dirt Town at LS Fest West! All trucks and/or buggies are allowed. Only qualifications are that they are LS or Gen V LT powered. Hoonigan | Cinco De Mayo Tire De Fry�O Burnout Contest/Taco Party: Join us as we pit several pre-selected vehicles from various LS Fest event segments (i.e. pro-touring, off-road, drift, drag, show-n-shine, etc.) against one another in order to establish what group can provide the best gross display of horsepower for the night. MSD | Car Craft Magazine Drag Racing Classes: This is where some of the quickest and fastest cars in the country can be found in side-by-side competition on 1320 feet of asphalt! Experience the ground pounding action from some of the fastest LS or current generation LT powered cars in the West. Don�t miss this opportunity to unleash the power of your ride! Read on to find out more about the newly added LS West drag classes. Earl�s LS Truck (1/8 mile) presented by Earl�s: LS Truck is a relatively new class that event staff began last year. The LS truck and SUV market has exploded into an exciting platform and we�re looking forward to seeing participants showcase their truck/SUV performance. The [rules]( for this class are straightforward. We look very forward to seeing you and your truck/SUV at the race. MSD | Outlaw 275 (1/8 mile) Class: This class is a 1/8th mile heads-up small tire class designed for LS powered or current gen LT vehicles. Engines are allowed the use of a single power adder that is restricted in size to maintain class parity. Come out and see impressive forced induction and/or nitrous powered beasts face off! Please click for the [rules]( for this class. Hooker BlackHeart | Grudge Test-N-Tune Class: Grudge/Test-N-Tune is back for LS Fest West 2018. It is a no payout class that is focused on keeping fun at a premium. This class is perfect for those who are looking for a Saturday night fun-run style class just like they have at their home track. Team up against a friend or race against yourself and the clock. Perhaps your vehicle wouldn�t be competitive in any other class. Maybe you�re learning to drive a newly developed setup. This class is ideal for any of those scenarios. The class will run as a scheduled class throughout the weekend and is only available to competitors that are not competing in another class during the event. The only exception would be for competitors that are running True Street on Saturday. These will be able to enjoy Test-N-Tune on Sunday. There are no class rules or limitations to this class. All NHRA safety regulations for speed DO APPLY. These drag classes join our other popular LS Fest drag classes (listed below) to provide a weekend full of exciting drag racing: - Cam Motion True Street - Three Pedals Rumble - S.A.M. QA1 | Lateral-g.net Autocross: Do you think your car or truck handles well? Then put it to the test on the QA1 autocross. This is a low speed competition designed to highlight the handling, acceleration and braking of your ride. The wide sweepers, tight hairpins, chicanes, and slalom sections of the course will keep your adrenaline pumping from start to finish and put your driving skills to the test. To find out more about autocross, click below. Baer Brakes | Super Chevy 3S Challenge: The Baer Brakes 3S Challenge stands for Speed, Stop & Steering. It combines elements of autocross and speed-stop into a single event that will test the ultimate limits of car and driver. Car balance, horsepower, suspension set-up and brakes, along with driver skill and focus will be the keys to fast times. The 3S Challenge will be fun for participants and spectators alike. It is part of the Grand Champion competition and will be held in place of the autocross on Sunday. 3S Challenge is open to all participants signed up for autocross. To find out more, click below. Registration for Autocross, 3S Challenge, and Road Course Challenge is limited to 150 autocross cars so click here to [preregister now!]( Lucas Oil | MotoIQ.com Drift Challenge: We�re glad to announce another Lucas Oil Drift Challenge for the LS Fest schedule that will allow drivers to once again showcase their talent and compete for a $1,500 purse! Second and third place gift certificates for Holley brand products will be given in $750 and $375 product certificates. The winner will also take home a certificate for a brand new set of Fortune Auto coilovers! This event consists of skilled drivers and their vehicles competing in tandem competition around a predetermined course to decide a winner. Drivers slide their vehicles around the entire course and are evaluated by a panel of three judges that decide who advances to the next round based on line, angle, and overall style. This segment of LS Fest is INVITATIONAL ONLY! If you think you have what it takes to compete in LS Fest West Drift challenge, send us an email to driftchallenge@holley.com with a brief overview of your driving history and images of your competition vehicle. Hooker BlackHeart | LS1tech.com Show-N-Shine: Have you created a masterpiece of mechanical artwork around your LS or current generation LT engine? One of the things we�re most excited to see at LS Fest West is what kind of quality builds are taking place out west that don�t make it to our Bowling Green, KY event. If nice paint and flawless chrome is your thing, then the LS1Tech Show-N-Shine is the place for you. Experienced judges will be on hand looking for the details and the Holley crew will be choosing their favorites as well. We even have an �Under Construction� class for those of you who aren�t quite finished turning screws and slappin' on paint. For Vegas event staff have added in a Lowrider class! Listen up LS Fest West fans! LS Fest event staff are pleased to announce the Best In The West, a unique new award for LS Fest West 2018 participants. How will the winner be decided? We�re going to let attending media vote. Over the course of the three day event, LS Fest media have the opportunity to drop by the Holley trailer and submit their choice for the participant�s vehicle they think most deserves the title of �Best In The West�. Any vehicle that has been registered as a participant in the event is eligible to win Best In The West, whether it�s been registered as a drag car, placed in the car show, or is out on the autocross, off road or drift courses. The winner will be the participant who received the most votes over the course of the event, for any reason - looks, engineering, performance or just because its killer. Event staff will announce the winner along with our car show awards on Sunday afternoon. The winner of Best In The West will take home a trophy and a $500 product certificate. How will you know if you�re in the running? If your vehicle has been voted for, a window sticker will be placed on the vehicle signifying you�re in the running for Best In The West. This is the sticker you need to keep an eye out for: With over 100 media attendees from quality media entities in attendance at the 2017 event, 2018 is slated for even more media coverage. Media outlets like Car Craft, Super Chevy, Chevy High Performance, LSXTV.com, Lateral-G.net, Pro-touring.com, GM-EFI.com, Bangshift.com, Fastest Street Car, Vette, Auto Revolution, LS1tech.com, Xtreme Off Road and more will be in attendance. Racepak | Protouring.com Road Course Challenge: LS Fest West will utilize the 1.75 mile portion of LVMS to conduct the Road Course Challenge. It is a great track for beginners as well as seasoned drivers to hone their skills. The RCC is sanctioned by the USCA (Ultimate Street Car Association) whose primary purpose is safety, learning and fun. The RCC is open to any make and model of vehicle as long as it is powered by a GM LS (or current generation LT) engine and is deemed safe to run by tech. The segment will be timed and those times will be used for Grand Champion scoring. This portion of the event is open to Grand Champion competitors only. NOS | Bangshift.com Dyno Challenge: At Holley we are all about proving the performance of a vehicle and that includes knowing what kind of power numbers it makes. That is why you can bring your LS or current generation LT powered ride out to LS Fest West and slap it on the dyno. Any registered LS Fest participant can hop onto the dyno to get power and torque figures for their ride at no extra cost. Sign up is first come, first serve so the earlier the signup, the earlier your opportunity to jump on. First, second, and third place awards will be given to those who lay down the highest numbers in both power adder and non-power adder categories. Big numbers are cool, so it will be interesting to see how that power translates into performance in the other aspects of LS Fest! To find out more about the dyno challenge, click below. Terra Crew Desert Launch: LS Fest West will once again include a long jump event on the schedule that is sure to impress! Terra Crew is bringing their long travel pre-runner style trucks and buggies to LS Fest West along with drivers that are ready to send it! A large jump will be erected within the same dirt track where the Off Road Challenge will take place. There will be several opportunities to see these trucks flying through the air! When they aren�t airing it out over the jumps make sure to head over to the Terra booth in the "Dirt Town" Off Road paddock, and see for yourself just what it takes in terms of LS horsepower and suspension to get these trucks and buggies to land those huge jumps. GM EFI | ACCEL POKER RUN CHALLENGE: The Poker Run is an opportunity for LS Fest West registered participants to take their vehicle for a drive off the speedway grounds and prove that their vehicle can be mean on the track AND on the street. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to ride along in registered event vehicles. Participants running for Grand Champion MUST participate in the poker run to be eligible. Grab a route map at the Optima trailer for the location of the offsite card as well as the locations of onsite vendors that have cards. Each competitor must get all five cards on the Poker Run to complete the challenge. This challenge differs from our Bowling Green Countryside Cruise event in that there will be various awards presented. Game on! SPECIAL EVENTS: Bring the entire family to LS Fest � there�s something here for everybody! There are tons of events to watch as a spectator, great food and beverages, a Poker Run through the surrounding area, and you can pick up a famous LS Fest t-shirt for only $10! We are constantly told that LS Fest is one of the most exciting and memorable automotive weekends of the year and we�re working to make sure LS Fest West doesn�t disappoint! For more info on the following special events, click below. The Speedtech Corral Visit the Speedtech Corral, featuring Ron Sutton Race Technology. Speedtech will have a corral of some of their greatest cars, and you can attend a Ron Sutton Race Technology seminar to improve your driving skills on track. One will be held on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. during the event. Holley LS Fest Grand Champion Who will be Holley's LS Fest West Grand Champion? The driver or participant that can do the best all-around job in multiple events! Bring a vehicle that can go fast, stop fast, and hang on in the corners! See the official rules then show up and drive! New for 2018! Holley wants to find the fastest all-around LS or current gen LT powered truck! LS Fest event staff are pleased to announce the addition of a truck grand champion class for future LS Fest events. Each year the amount of trucks present at LS Fest continues to grow. In order to spur LS or current gen-LT truck and SUV enthusiasts on in friendly competition, Holley has amended their current prize structure to reflect this change. Vette Magazine is proud to announce its special event during LS Fest West which will recognize the �Fastest Corvette� in three categories: Drag Race, Autocross, and the Vette who puts up the highest output in the Dyno Challenge! Chevy High Performance Magazine � Chevy High Noon Shootout Chevy High Performance magazine is proud to announce their �Chevy High Noon Shootout� for the 2017 Holley LS Fest West. The High Noon Shootout will offer two individual events throughout the weekend, including an autocross challenge at noon on Saturday, and Chevy High Performance Best of Show at noon on Sunday for the Show-N-Shine.
