[Replay Poker Newsletter]( NEWSLETTER - MARCH 2017 "Be aggressive if you have a big stick. But don't start fights if you have a weak hand." - aoeu Howdy {NAME}! The snow and ice are clearing and spring is on the way! Get ready to march into the month of March with us here at Replay Poker. First we’ll go over last month’s big winners. Who did their dance in the end zone for the Super Bowl Final? Who conquered the Omaha Hi/Lo Challenge? Which staff members had their hearts (and chips!) stolen in February’s Bust the Staff? Who was our Valentine? Find out coming up! Then we’ve got a peek at our upcoming promotions for this month. Will you have the luck o’ the Irish in our [St. Patrick's Funky Rebuys]( challenge? Or maybe the [Bankroll Builder Bonanza]( is more your speed? Read on to find out more! Player of the Month [Player of the Month]( Player of the Month is well-known in our American, Asian, and European League tournaments: it's [moeron]( moeron, whose real name is Bruce, gets his username from the band [moe]( which is a term of endearment for fans of the band. He's a big fan of live music in general, especially jam bands, and considers himself a Phish Phanatic. Bruce is married with two grown kids, and he pays close attention to politics – particularly legislation passing in states such as Oregon and Colorado. Bitten by the poker bug in 2003, Bruce loves the competition that the game has to offer: "I like to wish everyone luck, because if we all have the same luck, it then becomes reliant on skill." If you're looking to sit at a table with moeron, you'll find him in the League MTTs or an occasional ring game. His poker advice for other players is patience, patience, patience! "Knowing how to utilize position, clock management and when to apply pressure is crucial. And my motto is 'There are no sorry's in no limit' which means: Bad beats happen, but we all know we signed up for a no-limit tournament and are aware that going all-in could be the end." Promotions Recap En Route to the Super Bowl Our Super Bowl Final tournament on February 5th provided all the drama and excitement our players could have wanted. Three valiant players got their playbooks fine tuned, busted through their opponents' strategies and made their way into Replay Super Bowl history! With a nail-biting tournament finale, congratulations go to [im_a_dog]( [BobbyLantz]( and [ura33]( for taking home the top three prizes. Well done! Omaha Hi/Lo Challenge 2017 Back by popular demand, the second annual [Omaha Hi/Lo Challenge 2017]( promotion welcomed 1,647 seated players, who took Omaha Hi/Lo tournaments to a whole new level of challenging competition! Congratulations [Ruthless007]( [LJesse128]( and [Wolhak]( on your amazing Hi/Lo skills! Bust the Staff! With more than 450 players hoping to grab a staff bounty and take home double the usual prize amounts, the staff didn't stand a chance for a February win! The final bounty was collected by [ifko14]( who busted out [Shakeraise]( 20th place. There will be some exciting changes for next month's Bust the Staff! tournament on Thursday, March, 16th. Be sure to join us then for an even more exciting competition! Upcoming Promotions The sun is coming out again and the tables are starting to heat up! Our [Mardi Gras Royal Festival]( to run through March 5th! Get all decked out in your best purple, green, and gold and try to catch a fistful of chips. These are 6-Max NL Royal Sit’n’Gos with buy-ins of 1,500 and 3,000 chips. There are two leaderboards, one for tournament points and the other for bust-outs, that each pay out a share of three million chips to the top 25 players! That’s a total of six million chips in leaderboard prizes; a fitting end for Fat Tuesday! Beginning March 1st, we’re introducing 150K Daily Freerolls. All six current daily freerolls will see their added prize pools increased from 100K to 150K. That’s 900K in added prize pools each day, or 2.1 million each week. You can find them, as always, in the [MTT Lobby](. Are you looking for your lucky pot o’ gold? You just might find it with our [St. Patrick's Funky Rebuys]( tournaments. Starting March 13th and running through March 19th, there will be two special daily rebuy MTTs featuring a buy-in of 1,500 chips and an added prize pool of 250K chips each! On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, the added prize pool will be 500K each. Gather up your four-leaf clovers and try your luck! March 16th at 4pm ET is our monthly [Bust the Staff]( tournament, now with added prizes! The BTS prize pool is getting a raise to one million chips. Staff bounties will also be increased to 50K chips. Not only that, but the players have bounties, too! Each player has a 1,000 chip bounty. That’s a total of at least 1.5 million chips in prizes! We end the month of March with our [Bankroll Builder Bonanza](. Running March 20th through March 27th, our Bankroll Builder tournaments will have a four million chip leaderboard based on tournament points. Only the top 20 tournament performances will count, and the top 50 players get a share of the winnings! It’s a chip bonanza extravaganza! And April is just around the corner!
