But does it feel like much ado about almost nothing? That’s the impression I get from recent conversations in the [CMWorld Slack group](. Here are a few highlights from the discussions ([sign up here]( if you’re not already a member): On whether they’ve updated to the X logo on websites, email footers, etc.: People felt split on this issue. Some said no (because it looks like an adult content site or because Twitter and tweet are more widely used). Others said they have/would unless given a good reason not to. Robert Rose talked about the many problems with how the rebrand rolled out in [Twitter’s Rebrand Is on Fire (and It’s Not Glorious)]( On whether marketers would pay for X: Many expressed variations of these sentiments: - I would have paid for pre-Elon Musk Twitter, but I won’t pay for X. Most who felt that way cited less activity from accounts they follow, more undesired (and undesirable) content showing up in feeds, and general discontent with the platform’s leader. - I won’t pay for something I no longer use. On whether they’d pay for any social platform. Here, most commenters agreed: The only platform worth paying for today is LinkedIn. And (spoiler) CMI’s latest research (coming out in October) confirms that LinkedIn delivers the best value for B2B marketers (by far).
