mlns='> Help! These content marketing problems have no tech solutions (yet). [View Message in Browser]( / [Add Us to Safe Sender List]( [Content Marketing Institute]( Daily News and Alert 8.7.23 Connect with CMI Hi there, Anyone working for a content tech vendor should go directly to the CMWorld Slack group this week. And so should anyone who has ever wished there were an app for that. What “that” is varies. But you can see the range of pain points content folks face in the answers to community member Susan Varty’s question last week: “What aspect of your content marketing job would you love a solution for but doesn’t really exist?” Answers to date include: - Easy attribution of content’s influence on purchases - Faster/better formatting for various distribution channels - A way to speed up client approvals - Something to block people who aren’t editors or writers from the review/approval process - Automated messages reminding SMEs they need to review/approve the content they requested. Some of the requests might have been made with tongue at least partially in cheek. For others, solutions may be on the way. With attribution, for example, marketing analytics or data science practitioners on your team can get a glimpse of what’s coming at the [MADS conference]( that’s co-located with Content Marketing World this year. But it’s such a great question, I want to turn it over to you. What’s a content marketing pain point you’d welcome a tech solution for? [Let me know](mailto:kim.moutsos@informa.com?subject=CMI%20content%20feedback%20%E2%80%93%20Help%2C%20please), or join the conversation in the Slack group. Creativity isn’t some magical quality belonging only to dreamy artists, and the best ideas don’t always arise from staring out at a windswept landscape from a solitary beach hut. More mundane-sounding things like platforms and processes (yes, really) play an essential role in innovation. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
