Bulgarian nationals Orlin Roussev, 45, Biser Dzhambazov, 42, and Katrin Ivanova, 31, were arrested in February as part of a major police sting but before that appeared to have held down ordinary jobs. The trio have been charged with possessing false passports and ID cards and other documents âwith improper intentionâ after counterterrorism police swooped on homes in Harrow and Great Yarmouth. They are said to have known the documents for countries including the UK, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Spain, Greece and the Czech Republic were fake. Police also allegedly found Discovery and National Geographic television channel uniforms, reportedly used to carry out surveillance operations. Their neighbours spoke of their shock on Tuesday as details began to emerge of the seemingly innocuous years they have spent in Britain. Locals said that Mr Dzhambazov and Ms Ivanova, who lived at the same address as a couple in a âquiet cul de sacâ in Harrow, were a âfriendlyâ couple known to them as Max and Kate. They âkept a low profileâ and even lived next door to a police officer, one neighbour said. 2 /[Captured Ukrainian soldiers reveal torture in Russian prison â report]( Captured Ukrainians allegedly subjected to assault and electric shocks at Russian detention facility 3 /Police âhad DNA evidence 16 years agoâ to clear wrongful rape conviction]( Miscarriage of justice victim Andrew Malkinson, who spent 17 years in prison for a rape he did not commit, had his conviction quashed last month 4 /[Panic attacks and malnutrition: Afghan family on life in refugee hotel]( Exclusive: Two years on from the Taliban takeover, one of the first Afghan families to arrive in the UK by small boat remains in Home Office limbo, as Nicola Kelly reports 5 /[UK inflation falls sharply to 6.8% as energy price crisis eases](//link.e.independent.co.uk/click/32413220.337785/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaW5kZXBlbmRlbnQuY28udWsvbmV3cy91ay9ob21lLW5ld3MvYnJleGl0LXJlZmVyZW5kdW0tcmVncmV0LXlvdWdvdi1iMjM5MjY3MC5odG1s/64c10d26314b145aeb06720bB6255f58e CPI inflation now stands at 6.8% after a fall in energy prices THE BIG QUESTION [Can England's Lionesses settle one of sport's oldest rivalries?]( England and Australia will meet this morning in a hugely anticipated Womenâs World Cup semi-final in Sydney.
