[Oceangate Expeditions]( CEO [Stockton Rush](, Pakistani businessman [Shahzada Dawood]( and his son Suleman, British billionaire Hamish Harding, and French adventurer [Paul-Henri Nargeolet]( were on board the Titan when it lost communications with a support ship less than two hours into a 4,000m dive to the Titanic shipwreck on Sunday. A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) located pieces of debris from the [Titan]( on the seabed about 500m from the bow of the Titanic wreck on Thursday morning Rear Admiral John Mauger, the First Coast Guard District commander, told a press briefing. The debris was analysed and confirmed to belong to the Titan, and family members were informed there had been no survivors. The bodies of the five deceased crew members may never be found, Admiral Mauger added. âThis is an incredibly unforgiving environment down there on the sea floor and the debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel. âI can only imagine what this has been like for them and I hope that this discovery provides some solace during this difficult time." 2 /[Interest rates blame game erupts between Tories and Bank of England, as recession warnings grow]( Bank governor Andrew Bailey fights for future â and blames company bosses for fuelling inflation with pay rises 3 / [Over 40 Windrush victims died before claims settled]( Figures revealed in week of 75th anniversary of Windrush voyage show persistent delays in compensation scheme 4 /[Around 14,000 people did not vote after being unable to show photo ID, elections watchdog says]( Electoral Commission says âsignificantly moreâ people likely stayed at home during Mayâs local elections in England due to new policy 5 / [More than a billion people will get diabetes by 2050, study says]( Researchers say no country in the world is likely to see a decline in rising rates of diabetes THE BIG QUESTION Saudi Arabia money has turned transfers into âchaosâ â will it last?
