Beirut port officials who have been responsible for storage and security since 2014 - when the fatal cargo of ammonium nitrate first arrived - have also been placed under house arrest while control of security in the capital has been handed over to the military. The army will oversee the house arrest until responsibility is determined for the huge explosions that devastated the city, as citizens begin the unthinkable task of searching for lost family, friends and belongings. In the US, Donald Trump's campaign Twitter account has been warned it [must remove a post containing misinformation about Covid-19]( before it is allowed to resume posting, the platform announced on Wednesday. The post from Team Trump contains footage from an interview with Fox News in which the president falsely claims that children are "almost immune" from the disease, a remark he walked back during a White House briefing by saying that children are able to "throw it off" and are less likely to get sick compared to adults. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and other health experts have found that children are equally vulnerable to transmitting the virus. In the UK, [lockdown restrictions have been reimposed in Aberdeen]( after a cluster of coronavirus cases linked to pubs and bars caused fears of a “significant outbreak” in the Scottish city. Pubs, restaurants and cafes closed at 5pm on Wednesday and a five-mile travel rule was put in place. Residents are also being told not to go into each other’s houses. Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon said 54 new cases have emerged in the outbreak “that may include some community transmission”. Speaking at a Covid-19 briefing in Edinburgh, she said 191 contacts have been traced in relation to the cluster and more than 20 pubs and restaurants are involved.
