Coming up on the show, you’ll hear the latest news and updates from IAG Cargo’s Chief Commercial Officer John Cheetham, who will be joined by four fantastic speakers: Niklas Adamsson, Chief Operating Officer at Envirotainer Niklas joins us from Envirotainer to speak about Releye, their temperature-controlled solution which marks the advent of a new era of temperature-controlled air freight logistics. Niklas is the COO at Envirotainer and brings more than 10 years of international leadership experience from various roles. Before joining Envirotainer he held the position as Technical Director Northern Europe at Dassault Systemes. Furthermore, he has also worked within the Operations and Supply Chain domain at Accenture in Sweden. Niklas holds a Ph.D. in engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has international academic experience from both ETH in Zurich and the University of Alberta in Canada. Bryan Dietz, Senior Vice President, Air Service and Commercial Development at Pittsburgh International Airport Bryan Dietz, the Senior Vice President of Air Service and Commercial Development for Pittsburgh International Airport in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, joins us to talk about the new 77,000 sq ft cargo facility coming to Pittsburgh International Airport. Bryan oversees the revenue strategy for aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue through the development of passenger and cargo flights at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) as well as the business strategy and development for concessions, parking, ground transportation and real estate at PIT. He has been instrumental in leading the airport’s transition from a connecting hub to a strong origin and destination (O&D) facility serving the revitalized Pittsburgh region. He also provides strategic support and direction for significant development programs such as the construction of Cargo 4 – a planned state-of-the-art cargo facility – and the Terminal Modernization Program at PIT. Matthew Goff, Department Manager for Hub & Planning at IAG Cargo Josh Lane, Head of Operations & People Transformation at IAG Cargo Matthew and Josh from IAG Cargo will join us to give an overview and introduction to e-AWB, explaining the benefits and the process to move to a digitalised future. Matthew has worked in the air cargo industry for 10 years spanning roles in IAG Cargo’s Product Team and a variety of Operational areas. He currently leads the Customer Data, Flight Planning and Hub Control teams for IAG Cargo’s London Operation with a focus on day to day delivery of operational performance and control as well as the implementation of digitisation initiatives to improve IAG Cargo’s overall handling experience for its customers. Josh comes to IAG Cargo with 9+ years from the high-end automotive sector working for one of the world’s leading ultra-luxury car makers, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars working In various positions. He spearheads the operations and people transformation agendas whilst bringing his experience in operational excellence and an external perspective to the table. He is a strong advocate of digitisation and even did his master thesis on developing a roadmap for industry 4.0 for the high-end automotive sector.
