[IAB Europe Launches Public Comment for Its GDPR Transparency & Consent Framework Version 2.0](
IAB Europe, the leading European-level industry association for the digital advertising ecosystem, in partnership with IAB Tech Lab, announced it is making the Policies and Technical Specifications for v2.0 of the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF v2.0) available for public comment. The public comment period will last 30 days, until 25th May 2019. The first iteration of the TCF was launched exactly one year ago, on 25th April 2018, to enable the digital advertising ecosystem to comply with certain obligations under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. It is the largest industry collaboration of its kind and the only compliance solution that was built by the industry, for the industry.

[IAB Tech Lab Releases for Public Comment a New Specification to Improve Transparency and User Experience in Video Advertising](
The IAB Tech Lab released SIMID (Secure Interactive Media Interface Definition) for public comment, a specification designed to replace VPAID (Video Player Ad Interface Definition) and increase transparency and security, while increasing support for creativity and interactive capabilities. The introduction of SIMID comes after a decade of the industry relying on the VPAID specification, a period that was a time of intense growth and evolution across the digital video landscape. Public comment will run through May 24, 2019.

[IAB Tech Lab Announces Two New Technologies to Build More Transparency & Trust in the Programmatic Supply Chain](
The IAB Tech Lab has introduced for public comment two new technical specifications aimed at increasing trust of the digital advertising supply chain, specifically on the supply-side of real-time bidding and programmatic buying. The first new technology, sellers.json, enables buyers to verify the entities who are either direct sellers of or intermediaries in the selected digital advertising opportunity for purchase. The second, the OpenRTB SupplyChain object, allows buyers to see all parties who are selling or reselling a given bid request. The OpenRTB Working Group is seeking industry feedback during a 30-day public comment period, through May 10, 2019.
