Nike announced the news with a simple caption saying "It was a hell of a round, Tiger." and Tiger added his own letter of gratitude on his channel. Why It Matters: Even if the writing was on the wall, before Monday morning it still felt like there was a sliver of hope that Tiger and Nike's relationship could be salvaged.
