[Hypedrive] December 08, 2023 Weekly Digest 🔫 Rockstar Games Shares the First Trailer for 'Grand Theft Auto 6' TLDR: It's finally here. We got our first official look at the long, long, long anticipated follow up in the GTA franchise: 'Grand Theft Auto 6.' Why It Matters: There’s so much to unpack from this trailer and it’s a lot of cutscenes, but we can draw some facts. The location appears to be Vice City, based off of real life Florida and from the looks of it it’s MASSIVE. The main character appears to be a female protagonist named Lucia, fresh out of her time in a correctional facility. And yes, cars cars cars. Right off the bat we see GTAified versions of Ferraris, Porsches, American muscle, and even some dirt bikes and low riders and Cessna airplanes. Par for the course really, we wouldn’t expect anything less. 'GTA6' is coming in 2025.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- 😢 Prime Video's 'The Grand Tour' Will Sadly End in 2024 TLDR: The Grand Tour,' starring "the boys" of modern day car journalism Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, will call it quits by the end of next year. Why It Matters: News broke that Clarkson, Hammond, and May will not continue the unscripted car-centric series after the airing of its next two films. The three started 'The Grand Tour' in 2016 after their exit from BBC's 'Top Gear' which also has recently announced its conclusion. All three hosts however do have their own ventures outside of cars – Clarkson and May both have their own shows on Prime Video with 'Clarkson's Farm' and 'James May: Our Man in...' respectively while Richard Hammond continues his work as a national personality. 'The Grand Tour' will wrap up after its next two films air in 2024, based in Mauritania and Zimbabwe. Its unique design features a “cab backwards” proportion, integrating Genesis’ anti-wedge attitude and a virtual parabolic tension theory evident in Genesis models. and under the hood, the X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept is powered by a Lambda 11 V6 engine, supported by Genesis E-SC technology, good for 1071hp and 986 lb-ft of torque.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- 💪 Watch the Tesla Cybertruck Drag Race a Porsche 911 While Towing A Porsche 911 TLDR: During its launch event, Elon Musk showed off the Tesla Cybertruck's incredible towing capabilities, by drag racing a Porsche 911 while towing one too.Why It Matters: The short video showed the truck lining up with a current gen Porsche 911, while towing a 911 of the same generation. Naturally the clip reveals the truck winning, but no details are divulged about the Porsche. While we’re at it though, it’s evident that the 911 is either a base model or a Carrera T, judging by its black brakes. The Porsche 911 Carrera Base and T are not slow though: both are capable of 0-60 times of 3.5-3.8s. Nevertheless Tesla shows off the stats of the truck, claiming the same feat is done in 2.6. The front face adopts a Shark Nose aesthetic, complemented with a long hood that's aero sculpted and ventilated. Around the back, the rear trunk retains much of the CLE's look but is widened by three inches, thanks to new fenders and rear bumper cover. Black-on-polished-lip wheels and a matte black exterior is exactly how we'd spec ours too.Power-wise, the CLE 53 is mild-hybrid driven, outputting 443 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque through its AMG-enhanced 3.0L inline six and auxiliary electric compressor combo. The CLE 53 also arrives exclusively in 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Hypebeast] [Download the Hypebeast App]( On iOS & Android Devices [hypebeast instagram]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Manage Subscriptions]( Policy]( You are subscribed to Hypebeast’s marketing emails with the address: {EMAIL} Contact [subscription@hypebeast.com](mailto: subscription@hypebeast.com) for assistance on any enquiries. 2023 Hypebeast Limited.
