This collection encompasses pretty much all areas of the golf wardrobe, and even includes small curiosities like ashtrays. Why It Matters: The patterned polo has caught a lot of smoke in the last few areas from golf and fashion enthusiasts. That's mainly due to an association with brands we won't mention that are trying to turn golf into gym wear, all while seemingly competing over who can design the craziest floral print. Why It Matters: Netflix's strategy of dramatizing professional sports has proven to be successful several times over, first demonstrated with "Drive to Survive" and later with the golf equivalent "Full Swing." Now the streaming service looks to build on its momentum by combining the two worlds. But live action is a different animal compared to what is essentially highly edited reality TV, so it'll be interesting to see how this shakes out. Now the NYC-bases brand has released what is effectively its first range of core essentials. Why It Matters: Speaking of vintage, although GGNC doesn't fall into that category, it's able to exist somewhere between new and vintage by taking old materials and turning them into something exciting and fresh. This latest drop still includes various novelty items, but it also delivers t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, socks and with the brand's signature "Flora" and "Fauna" motifs. The message?
