[Hypedrive] November 04, 2023 Weekly Digest 🕷️ Take a Look at Drake's New Custom 900HP Brabus Crawler TLDR: Drake's latest car purchase – the BRABUS Crawler – is not only ridiculously modified but incredibly rare. It's so limited that only 14 other people will ever get one. Why It Matters: For all intents and purposes, the BRABUS Crawler is an extreme off-road edition of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, only you'd have to really look hard to recognize it. To make a Crawler, the body is completely redone and its high-strength tube frame is paired with high-grade carbon fiber. A custom built suspension system allows for the truck's new 53 centimeters of ground clearance. 20" BRABUS Monoblock wheels – Drake custom ordered his in all black – is wrapped in 40 x 13.50 off-road tires to maximum grip in rough conditions. Lastly, beyond the door-less chassis you'll find four custom RECARO racing seats also made of carbon fiber.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- ⛽ Nissan Pays Homage to Rally Racing Heritage With "Safari Rally Z Tribute" TLDR: Nissan started SEMA Week strong with this: a Safari-modified edition of the new Z.The Japanese automaker even made a version out of the vintage Datsun 240Z. Why It Matters: The Nissan Z Safari Rally Tribute is not just a lifted Nissan Z – it is in fact a special edition build that's paired with a newly-developed Safari replica edition of the Datsun 240Z. The Safari Z is built by @tommypikecustoms and features custom KW Safari and NISMO suspension parts to raise the car by 2 inches, along with 17 x 7.5" prototype NISMO Safari wheels on chunky Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires. The Safari also hides an AMS-tuned VR30DDTT engine under the hood, now putting out "400+ horsepower," according to Nissan. Why It Matters: The Ferrari 499P Modificata is based off of the Le Mans-winning 499P and is for consumer track-use only, due to it being non-legal for racing and street-use. That being said, what you get is a hybrid powertrain, featuring a mid-rear mounted internal combustion V6 engine paired with an electric motor on the front axle. A "Push-to-Pass" feature bumps the power up an extra 120kW equating to 640kW – roughly 860 horsepower. The body is made of a carbon-fibre monocoque and exterior is designed in collaboration with the Ferrari Styling Centre to blend technical prowess with elegant, aerodynamic form.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- 💰 'The Wolf of Wall Street' Lamborghini Countach Hero Car Heads to Auction TLDR: "GET... OFF... THE PHONE!" The wonderfully destroyed Lamborghini Countach from 'The Wolf of Wall Street' is up for auction, in exactly the mangled form it was left in from that hilarious scene. Why It Matters: The Wolf of Wall Street' featured one of the most incredible period-correct props in the film – the 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, and best of all there were two on the set. Leonardo DiCaprio's character – Jordan Belfort – of course drove the pristine condition one around but also crashed it in spectacular form. So naturally, the destroyed edition was left destroyed and is now up for auction by Bonhams. The auction house is even expecting the destruction to be worth around $1.5 - 2M USD – which would make it one crazy expensive "art piece." First impressions: we think it looks great. Why It Matters: The Prelude was an underdog in the 90s and 2000s largely due to Honda's extensive catalog of sporty compacts like the Civic, (Acura) Integra and eventually the S2000. The Prelude however did have a cult following, mainly for its low key styling and reliability. From the Japan Mobility Show 2023 that just concluded, we now have a preview of the return of the Prelude name, now as a hybrid coupé. Exterior-wise, the new Prelude stays within the design language found within Honda vehicles today – we recognize a bit of Prius Prime at the front and rear for starters.Read the full article [here](. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Hypebeast] [Download the Hypebeast App]( On iOS & Android Devices [hypebeast instagram]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Manage Subscriptions]( Policy]( You are subscribed to Hypebeast’s marketing emails with the address: {EMAIL} Contact [subscription@hypebeast.com](mailto: subscription@hypebeast.com) for assistance on any enquiries. 2023 Hypebeast Limited.
