ï¸Âð Malbon and adidas Show Why the Samba Golf Is Here to Stay TLDR: With a Kith collaboration already under its belt this summer the adidas Samba Golf is officially back, and now itâs Malbon Golfâs turn to leave its mark on the low profile silhouette.â Why It Matters: The two brands first teamed up starting early in 2023 on a series of co-branded collections and then at the beginning of this year came together for the Crosby Collection, a more formal collaboration. This latest project falls more into the former category, with the standout Samba complemented by menâs and womenâs golf apparel. More than a simple case of slapping an âMâ logo on an already finished product, Malbon offers a custom take complete with two tone green serrated stripes, a light brown outsole, metallic gold accents and light gray suede to highlight the signature split toe design. The surrounding apparel options offer plenty of matching green potential like the color block Ultimate365 Sport Polo or the more understated Ultimate365 Anorak.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
ðÂг The Best Golf Shorts from Our Favorite Indie Brands TLDR: Summer may be winding down in many parts of the United States but a reliable pair of golf shorts is never really out of season. In order to build the perfect rotation weâve curated a selection of versatile, lifestyle and classic shorts, ensuring you have something to wear at country clubs, driving ranges and munis alike.â Why It Matters: Todayâs style norms are shifting not only on the grassroots level but also on tour (thank you Jason Day and Malbon Golf), which means that many golf shorts now have a better chance at passing for gym shorts, tennis shorts or trail shorts, and vice versa. Having said that, there are still plenty of style points to be gained from mastering the old money, country club aesthetic.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------
ðÂÂÂś Converting Golf Shoes Into Street Shoes TLDR: Although Nikeâs days of making âtraditionalâ looking golf shoes may be well in the past, Samuel Falzone is keeping the heritage alive and well, turning discontinued silhouettes from the Air Zoom series and reconstructing them with rugged storm welts and tanned leather trims.â Why It Matters: Falzoneâs background isnât in golf, in fact, heâs only ever played at driving ranges and putt putt courses, and when asked who his favorite golfer is he responded with Larry David. Trained in industrial design, he learned the craft of shoemaking in Florence, Italy and then worked as a designer for a corporate footwear wholesaler before starting his own practice. Thatâs how he was introduced to Ben Stricof and the Lower Manhattan menswear boutique & son where Falzone sells his shoes as an in-house designer.â Read the full article [here](. ---------------------------------------------------------------

adidas Golf and JAY3LLE Team Up to Champion Women's Golf TLDR: The best female golfers in the world are getting ready for the AIG Womenâs Open in St Andrews, Scotland, which isnât exactly a fashion mecca, but adidas is hoping to change that. And they wonât be able to do it without the help of new label JAY3LLE. â Why It Matters: The brand, a product of Johan Lindeberg and his daughter Blue Lindeberg, launched earlier this year with a series of ballet slippers, opting for one off âitemâ releases rather than full collections. But now JAY3LLEâs first big collaboration has arrived, and itâll be showcased all week on the body of Swedish professional golfer and adidas athlete Linn Grant. ðÂÂÂŹ Hereâs Why a Watch Expert and a Pro Athlete Started a Golf Platform TLDR: With Fairgame, Hodinkeeâs Ben Clymer and pro golfer Adam Scott are building a community of like-minded golfers.â Why It Matters: Think of it as an online clubhouse where anyone from freelance journalists, to skaters trying their hand in the sport or even veterans of the restaurant industry can organize a day on the links. âFairgame is here to inspire a connection between people that wouldnât know each other otherwise,â says Clymer, whose media property Hodinkee is famous for democratizing the world of collector watches. Golf is undergoing a similar process of reacclimatization right now, evidenced by a wave of twenty-somethings picking up the sport and new brands breaking the plain khakis and polo mold.
