Blind horse finds a best friend

The story of this sweet horse is sure to warm your heart. [The Humane Society of the United States]() [Magnolia the horse with her caregiver]( {NAME}, When our Animal Rescue Team first found Magnolia, she was in poor condition, living in filth. It was evident that she was not getting the care she so desperately needed. Among the horses from the rescue, Magnolia stood out due to the terrible condition of her eyes, [but what once could've been a heartbreaking story has turned out to be the total opposite.]( Thanks to supporters like you, Magnolia is now living in sanctuary with a new family of horses. She is a favorite in the stable, known for her sweet personality, and has even found a new best friend named Barbie. Although Magnolia can hardly see, her caretakers explained that the two are the best of friends and that Barbie very much plays the role of Magnolia's seeing eye horse, even though Barbie is also blind. We have shed many happy tears for Magnolia and are so grateful for the donations that make saving animals in conditions like hers possible.
