He was rescued from an alleged neglect situation in Smith County, Texas. When we found him, he was in terrible shape. The poor dog had been sleeping and living on bare concrete and was exposed to the elements. Due to these horrible living conditions, his backend became very weak and he could not walk unassisted for very long. Bear was in a sad state. Thankfully, we were able to rescue Bear along with many other dogs on the property. He was transported to Maryland where we’ve cared for him, helped him to heal from his injuries and given him a second chance at life.
