Friend, The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is creating unnecessary suffering for helpless animals

[We can end cruel animal testing for good, friend, but we need your help.]( [Humane Society Legislative Fund]( [Monkey locked in a box cage.]( [Animals in Labs Need You Right Now!]( [Take Action]( Friend, The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is creating unnecessary suffering for helpless animals likes dogs, rabbits and monkeys. [Send a message to demand the FDA end cruel animal testing.]( [Take Action]( Here’s the situation, friend. By promoting outdated animal testing in its drug approval guidelines, the FDA is encouraging drug companies to subject dogs, rabbits, monkeys and other animals to painful toxicity tests. Drug companies know that animal testing is the easiest and fastest path to FDA approval, meaning the fastest way to bring their products to market. The truth is that many more effective human-based test methods already exist that could reduce animal use immediately, but the FDA must proactively communicate its consideration of these methods to drug companies, otherwise they will just stick with the status quo. We won’t let this stand and we know you won’t either. Faster, less expensive and more effective non-animal testing methods are available right now. So we’re calling on the FDA to change its outdated testing policies and commit to prioritizing and incentivizing non-animal tests immediately. But we need your help: [Will you demand change to protect vulnerable animals by sending a message to the FDA today?]( Thank you, [Sara Amundson Signature] Sara Amundson President Humane Society Legislative Fund [Donate Now]( [Humane Society Legislative Fund]( 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 455 | Washington, DC 20037 [Donate]( | [Contact]( | [Privacy]( | [Blog]( [HSLF Facebook Logo]( [HSLF Twitter Logo]( [HSLF Youtube Logo]( © 2024 Humane Society Legislative Fund (HSLF) | All Rights Reserved This message was sent to {EMAIL}.
