The 350Z is ULEZ compliant from 2003 models upward but as the Infiniti is an import I can’t prove its Euro 4 or get the NOx reading. This appears to be a common problem with anyone owning an import. Do I need to prove it’s ULEZ compliant or do they have to? [Read more →]( [Can I challenge ULEZ compliance?]( Posted by on 13 September, 2023 My daughter has a Merc ML250 Bluetech which has a euro 6 engine and shows emissions of 163 gms/ 100 on the V5C. According to Merc forums many other owners have challenged the compliance status with TFL and, having looked at part ex in hers she finds that similar vehicles on sale are shown as compliant whilst having the same spec. Is their any intel as to if this is correct and how one goes about challenging TFL? Their checker suggests “ we’ll tell at the next stage”, but then doesn’t! It's been for sale with them for 5 months... but it's reasonably priced! Should I be concerned? Now with used car prices being so high is buying new a better bet ? Can these SD cards be updated to ensure the maps are currently up to date for the U.K.? - and if so - where can I find these updates? Also - in order to get back home we had to use the girlfriends smart phone to get us back(which seemed much sharper and more precise) -would this phone/sat nav guidance system be better as it is internet based? I would presume the built in car Tom Tom sat nav is run on GPS signals? Could you advise me the best system possible - please? Despite regular calls to the dealership there is no sign of the car at present. The dealer just says it is beyond their control. Is this normal? How long will it last? I think Hyundai increased the batteries warranty to life. As petrol/electric hybrids are a relatively new thing, just wondering if to keep it or to upgrade, [Read more →]( [Where can I find a replacement wiper motor for a Hyundai Terracan?]( Posted by on 11 September, 2023 I own a 55 plate Hyundai Terracan, the engine is beautiful and purrs or so I am told, so it's not a vehicle I want to scrap as it's used for winter travel to my horses. My issue is the windscreen wiper motor for the front wipers has failed on me a couple of times and made me nervous of using the truck. My mechanic has done what he can but has said it really needs a new motor. I've tried Hyundai dealers and they have told me the part is discontinued. I've written several times to Hyundai Customer Services who basically just offer no help whatsoever. I've tried looking at 2nd hand and have basically nearly been the victim of a scam and ripped off. Surely Hyundai have some duty to help owners of they vehicles to keep them on the road?
