I happened to be on the dealers website and tried to look for the model that I bought but there is a message saying that deals are currently unavailable for the model purchased. Have you seen this in the past and how do I proceed? Obviously manual linkages are my thing having owned a string of manual 911s over the years and my current pdk equipped turbo simply being too sterile. My question is longevity, enjoyment and passing it on to my son when I'm no longer sharp enough to use the car for it's intended purpose. The owner's manual suggests a range of 395 miles; I'm getting barely 300 miles. I have changed the oil and all the filters, plus spark plugs. Tyres have good tread, wearing evenly, and are at correct pressures. I am using premium petrol, only. The engine runs very well, with no hesitation under load. No leaks, or petrol smells noted. What do you suggest I try next? [Read more →]( [Torque Convertor Automatics]( Posted by on 3 April, 2023 Is there a website with a list of every torque convertor car available in UK? I am looking for a small/medium SUV sized car - with a TC box available via Motability - but Motability cannot provide such a list. The operative that I spoke to knew no difference between CVT and TC - Trying to convince me that they were the same - they are not. The dealer diagnosed a faulty coil pack which caused a spark plug to fail. The car is under warranty and was last serviced by Kia in January 2023. The dealer wants to charge me £19 for the spark plug they need to replace because the faulty coil pack damaged the spark plug. Everything else is covered under warranty. Is this normal? It seems unusual that the dealer would charge me for an item which was only a month old and was rendered faulty because of a faulty part which falls under the warranty. I have had the car nearly two weeks and they have said it looks like the service history has been altered for my old car, not by me may I add. They have said if I can’t find paperwork for this they will need some money from me. Is this legal after having agreed the price and car is no longer in my name?
