[View this email in your browser]( [Home Storage Solutions 101: A Place For Everything That Matters]( Dear {NAME}, As part of the 52 Week Organized Home Challenge, and Declutter 365 missions, we've been focused on our kitchen for a while now, and one thing I can feel pretty confident that all of us have in our kitchen is dishes, such as plates and bowls. The question becomes though, do you have too many? Obviously, you shouldn't declutter them all, but often we do have way too many and could easily get rid of some of our place settings or whole sets in our kitchen. It may feel counter-intuitive, but it's true, that getting rid of excess dishes in your kitchen helps you keep your kitchen cleaner. There just can't be as many dirty dishes piled in the sink, waiting in the dishwasher to get put away, and strewn throughout the house if there aren't as many total dishes available to eat off of! In this article I've discussed the factors to consider in determining, for your household, how many dishes you should keep. In addition there are tips for what to do when you're unsure of whether to get rid of some of your dishes, and finally I've shown inspirational photos from readers who've already done this mission to get you ready to tackle this area of your kitchen. You'll be surprised how much this mission frees up space in your kitchen, but also makes it easier to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes in the kitchen. [Eat At Home Meal Plans]( Since meal planning is such a critical habit to adopt, I thought this was the perfect time to run a quick series here in the newsletter all about meal planning. So below is tip #2 about how to implement meal planning in your own life. [Eat At Home Meal Plans]( Meal planning tip #2: Have a planned leftover night after a few days of planned meals. It's a nice break for you, and an easy way to clear out the fridge, and save money by not wasting food.â
â
If you cook more food that can be eaten at one sitting you should have a plan for how your family will eat those leftovers, either for other meals, or as part of a leftover night, so you're not wasting food or effort. On the other hand, if you and your family don't like leftovers you should try when planning to make sure, to the best of your ability, not to cook excess food, so again you're not wasting money and effort.â If you'd like some help with your meal planning the Eat At Home Meal Plans are currently on sale, until February 8th, and they can help you plan meals with the right amount of food. For each recipe you can choose what serving option you'd like, such as small family (3-4 servings), or large family (6-8) servings. This will allow you to either plan for leftovers, or try to avoid them, depending on what you wish to do. In addition, Eat at Home meal plans provide menu plans and printable grocery lists that are already prepared, and during the sale you can get each week's meal plan for as low as $1.13 per week!
