This week we're organizing the entryway and mudroom with these step by step instructions. This week we're organizing the entryway and mudroom with these step by step instructions. [View this email in your browser]( [Home Storage Solutions 101: A Place For Everything That Matters]( Dear {NAME}, This week's mission, as part of the 52 Week Organized Home Challenge, is to organize the front and back entryways of your home. Entryway And Mudroom Organization Challenge When you, your family members and guests walk into your home everyone typically has lots of stuff with them, from coats, hats, purses, book bags, today's mail, etc. That means the entrance -- the first place your family and friends see when they come into your home -- can easily turn into a dumping ground for stuff and junk. To make your home inviting, and functional all at once fortunately isn't too hard. It just takes some thought, creativity with storage for items, and some weekly maintenance to keep it looking great, and that's what we're going to work on this week! You can get the step by step instructions for how to organize these areas in the article. [Click Here For The Entryway & Mudroom Organization Challenge]( [Pin The Article For Later]( How To Make A Holiday Planner {With Lots Of Free Holiday Organizing Printables!} I love a good family tradition, it's one of my favorite things about the holidays. But it can be difficult to remember what you've done from year to year, and also to actually prioritize what activities and recipes you'll make during this busy season, with so many choices. A little planning and organization can fix that though, so I suggest everyone create a holiday planner. I'm not suggesting something really fancy, unless you have time and energy and are so inclined. No, what I have in mind is the type of tool you create simply, and then build upon from season to season, and from year to year to come. It's the perfect time to create your holiday planner since we're [gearing up for the holidays and for the Stress Free Holidays Challenge]( which will begin next Saturday. (Have you signed up yet? If not, you can [sign up here]( and then you can confirm your subscription in your email inbox!) In the article about the holiday planner, I've also included a round up of links to my free holiday printables, so get your instructions and also get your free printables today! [Holiday Planner]( [Click Here To Learn How To Make A Holiday Planner]( Don't Forget To Sign Up For The FREE Stress Free Holidays Challenge! The Stress Free Holidays Challenge is a FREE 13 part series that starts this year, beginning on October 3rd, that slowly helps you get ready for the big three holidays -- Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas. It actually lasts a week after Christmas is over, so you can clean up and get ready for the New Year too! I'll post each week's tasks on the Household Management 101 site as usual, but you can also [sign up to receive the free newsletter and get that week's tasks delivered directly to your inbox]( so you don't forget what needs to be done. I hope you'll join me so we can all have a stress free holiday this year! [Weekly Cleaning Schedule]( Umm, does this sound like you? I know I've definitely done stuff like this before, and while I don't always learn my lesson, I'm trying. One way to help with this, at least for recurring tasks (as opposed to tasks that need to just be done once) is to go ahead and create a reasonable schedule for doing them, so you designate a specific date and time for doing them, and with repetition can estimate how long it will actually take to do the task, so you're not overestimating it in your head, which causes you to put it off. That's exactly what I do for weekly cleaning tasks. You can [check out this schedule here for more ideas](. [Click Here For Your Weekly Cleaning Schedule]( How To Declutter Video Games & Electronic Toys In this Declutter 365 mission I want you to declutter video games and other electronic toys. As always, I'm not suggesting that you should declutter them all, unless you want to, but instead to use this opportunity to get rid of old, unused, or broken electronic games and toys, so you can further enjoy what you do keep. This article has more instructions, as well as photos from readers who've already done this mission to get you inspired to do it for yourself.
